Such a sweet home on the lake. Perfect getaway for our family. We hope to be back in the summer months! Highly recommend for a scenic quiet spot to stay and enjoy the outdoors.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sandy Shores. The home was super clean, the kitchen and throughout was so well appointed with all of the little things that made our stay more enjoyable. The scenery and location were terrific-right on the lake with a beautiful south view. The beds were so comfortable, the bathrooms and kitchen was so well stocked with little extras and goodies-we will definitely be booking with Sandy Shores again! 5 Star all the way!

Our stay here was just perfect! The place is so extremely clean (both the main house and guest house), has eveything you need, the yard is big and so well maintained, the views are stunning, the lake just steps away is quiet and peaceful (we caught so many fish!), the guest house was so fun for our four young boys, the host was so kind and responsive...just everything about our stay here was perfect! It truly felt like a home away from home! So clean and cozy. So many wonderful memories made there for our family. We will definitely be back! Thanks for everything!

My family and I truly enjoyed our trip to Scott's property. The house fit our big crew quite well. The beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the fun spaces in the house. The location was beautiful and peaceful. While there is a lot of vegetation along the lakeshore, there is a decent beach, and some shallow water that the smallest kids were able to enjoy. For the bigger kids, we brought the lily pad out to the middle of the lake, and they had a blast with that. The outdoor living space was great! Scott was friendly, helpful, responsive.

We had a great experience at Molly's lake cabin! The space was large enough for our family, had quality furnishings, and was kept clean, allowing us to relax and unwind comfortably. The outdoor amentities, such as the fire pit, outdoor seating, etc. were well maintained and allowed our family to spend quality time together outside. The dock and water were fantastic for swimming and hanging out in the sun, adding extra fun to our vacation. Even though a severe storm caused a power and water outage for over 12 hours and time spent cleaning up downed branches and sticks, we made the best of the experience and Molly did the best she could not to let it hinder our fun. Recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes for the backyard steps and swimmer's itch lotion. Overall, a wonderful retreat for families looking to enjoy quality time together!

Beautiful property! Very peaceful and private. Did hear the cement trucks working in the morning, but it was very quiet. The indoor log decor was so warm and inviting. So many great details with fully stocked kitchen, linens, extra blankets, all the comforts of home. Loved the reclining sofa in front of the fireplace. Enjoyed the private loft living area above. I posted all of my pictures on my social media page along with the AirBnb listing. My friends and family are very impressed! So close to Itasca State Park, the headwaters of the Mississippi.

Charming cottage on the lake. We enjoyed our brief visit. Wonderfully outfitted with everything you need and some extras. The kids loved the beach and outside shower. I found the kitchen well appointed for cooking. We loved the beach vibe and highly recommend. It was also exceptionally clean!!!
