Family-friendly vacation rentals in Au Sable Township

I booked this beautiful home after my first reservation and host cancelled on me due to the storms. Well, I can say… we are so happy with our stay. It was exactly as described and even better than expected. April really is a one of a kind host, so good that I had to take notes for my own Air bnb adventure. She thought of everything! I’ve never had a better stocked kitchen. We always cook and make a big meal and we sure did not want for anything. We were even greeted with a local baked good and extra sheets and blankets for the dogs. These hosts were the best I’ve had in Michigan, if not the whole country. I’m thankful for people who truly consider someone’s stay and thinks of it all. Thank you again to the hosts. The Cabin was spotless and one of my favorite features was the deer lights.

Bailey was a great host. She was responsive and helpful when we had issues. The house was nice, clean, and spacious.

This place is out of a dream. A perfect spot to unwind. Right on the lake. Has all the amenities. Nothing else I would change about this spot. This is my second visit and will definitely not be the last.

We just got married and had a mini moon on the ausable river! The place was beautiful and you can tell it is well loved and taken care of. Bill was responsive and gave us great recommendations, we will definitely be back!

The home and property was so peaceful, relaxing and had everything we needed for our family reunion. Certain areas could use some maintenance or a deep clean but that is totally overshadowed with everything else the property has to offer. We’ve already booked for next year and are excited ti he coming back a second time.

The angler's retreat was just what we were looking for. Private, secluded and very peaceful. Jeff & MJ provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. All we needed to bring was food and clothes. There was even fresh cookies for us to enjoy. Will definitely be visiting again!

The cottage was exactly as described, though the pictures do make it seem smaller than it is. Definitely a spacious cabin, tons of room for the two of us and our sizable Labrador. Enough room for 4 people to stay comfortably without bumping into one another the whole time. Fantastic cabin, we will be back.

Had a great time with the kids at Edwards place. Definitely off the beaten path, 20 min drive to property driving on gravel and then dirt/sand after the gate, was a little tight between the vegetation on the path with my truck but no damage done(couple minor scratches). You'll get used to the solar power and learn to conserve, make sure to charge during the day. Amazingly beautiful property, crazy quite. We didn't see much wildlife during our stay, mostly a wide variety of birds. we rented the small boat and made it to the sandbar on Hubbard lake, if your not too familiar with boats I would rent a boat in the surrounding lakes before trying to make it by river to Hubbard lake. River is GREAT for kayak, canoe or paddle board plus you won't scare off the wildlife with the sound of the engine. Overall, we had a great time in this secluded setting and spending quality time with the kids without wifi/internet.

Great place on a snowy cold weekend. Enjoyed the fenced in backyard for the pups and our ten year old, the potbelly stove to warm up, fully stocked kitchen, games, books, internet. Was perfect.

We had a beautiful stay! it was everything we could have dreamed of. Joe was amazing at getting back with us and very helpful. we HIGHLY recommend booking with one of their Airbnbs.

The house was in a nice, quiet location which I enjoyed. The area looked like it would be a nice place to walk around, but unfortunately I stayed during the coldest part of the winter season so I wasn't up for bein outside when the real feel was below zero. The location was convenient, and the house had everything I needed. The one time I had a minor issue with the TV, Greg was responsive and provided guidance on how to solve the problem. Overall, this was a good stay, and I would recommend anyone to try it out.

Lots of fun to be had at Linda’s establishment. We enjoyed the fire pit and the WELL stocked wood to accommodate our camp fire😊

We really enjoyed spending time on the quiet beach on Eagle Bay. It was a real treat to step out onto the beach from the back deck. My kids enjoyed playing in the sand and the beautiful waters of Lake Huron. We enjoyed a beach campfire at night and visited the nearby dark sky preserve. The short drive into Port Austin was convenient for eating out, getting coffee, groceries, and renting kayaks to paddle Turnip Rock. We had a great time!

The location was awesome. Home was as in pictures. Only complaint were ALL the mattresses were old and very uncomfortable. My adult daughter chose to sleep on floor instead of bed due to how uncomfortable the beds were. Other than that the place was awesome

Everything about it was perfect. Comfortable beds, peaceful settings, and beautiful decorations. I could have sat by the water and watched the birds for hours. Will definitely be back!

Such a great stay! So close to a great beach and tons of stuff close for last minute grocery runs etc. House was very clean and spacious! If staying making sure you bring extra paper towels, trash bags, ziplocs, and those sort of things cause they are sparse (this do tell you this when you book!)

Had a great long weekend with friends at Elizabeth’s Airbnb. Cozy home. Very clean and comfortable. Nice open floor plan so that you can share time with friends and family. We were a group of nine and felt like we had plenty of space. Nice table for a group meals. Well equipped kitchen. Beyond the hosts control there was a lot of snow this weekend and roads were not plowed. One of our three cars had trouble getting up the hill to their Airbnb.

Very cozy home! We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and lack of phone service. A great getaway!

We so enjoyed our stay at Denise's house! It was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures. The house was cozy and cute and decorated very nicely. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed which was great as we cooked multiple meals in it. We loved that there was a private beach within walking distance. The location was great as well, as it was between Port Austin and Caseville so we could travel to both with ease. The bed might be one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept on. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks so much Denise.
