Apartment vacation rentals in Atocha, Arganzuela

We received a warm and personal welcome from May, who was very accommodating with the check-in time. The apartment was clean and had a lovely, fresh fragrance. It was generously supplied with extra towels and other amenities. The heating in the apartment was very effective even on colder winter days. Inside the fridge were two bottles of water and other chilled beverages as a welcome, along with some muffins and coffee pods on the countertop. We particularly loved that the small fridge had a built-in freezer compartment to keep ice, something we have often found unavailable in other Airbnbs, with fridges of similar size. May has gone to great lengths to ensure her guests have a comfortable stay, taking care of even the smallest details. The area is beautiful and walkable, with lots of restaurants and shops around, as well as Retiro Park only a short walk away. A number of grocery stores nearby meant we had no trouble finding whatever we needed. We can confidently recommend a stay here!

We really enjoyed our stay here! At first, the flat felt a bit “basementy” since it’s on the ground floor, but we quickly got used to it and felt very comfortable. The place is super clean and has everything you need, including shower gels. Getting to the city center is super easy - just hop on bus 65 or 31. Metro is close as well. There are some restaurants and bars nearby, but I’d recommend taking the bus to the center for more options. Thanks Andrea. Would defintely visit again!

We loved our stay here! Everything was great except that parking can be very challenging because it is inside a building where you need to drive in, take reverse and get the car in the elevator with very tight spaces and then get out. But that’s how it is in most of Madrid and Spain in general so I don’t think there is much choice there. Everything else was fantastic!

Exceptional experience, starting with attention and concern with arrival and check in. We had an early arrival and we felt the effort to meet us. We were very welcome at all times: arrival, communication, during the stay, in the change of bed linen and at the check out. We had a demand to change a lamp and get a curtain that fell down and we were promptly answered. The apartment is sensational, cozy, tasteful, great rooms. Bathrooms serve well and the kitchen as well. Everything worked perfectly. The balcony is a high point of the apartment. The neighborhood also helps with its quiet of being residential, but with plenty of choice of restaurants, cafes and shops. We love and will be back!

We had a wonderful time in Maria’s spacious, bright flat, with an easy-to-use kitchen and a comfortable living room. We were charmed to meet her and get her recommendations of things to do in the neighborhood – of which there are many. Near the Gran Via, a few steps from the Metro and in the middle of the lively, active Malasana neighborhood, the flat is super convenient (which means that you may hear Madrilenos enjoying themselves late into the night!). We would be delighted to return to Madrid and to Maria’s place again.

Luz's place, while small, is perfect for a tourist stay. The location is its main attribute, it's excellent. The heating is at an ideal point. Communication is also something I appreciate that from the time of booking it was easy and practical. Luz and Altair were very attentive, it took a little longer than the warned time to arrive due to a setback and still they were waiting for me with a good attitude. My only criticism would perhaps be regarding the cleanliness of kitchen utensils, at least the things we used just to see them didn't look very well washed.

Everything worked fine Place was as described. Optimal for us, especially near the event we visited. Everything is also easily accessible on foot, of course, if you are not lazy :-)

Everything is amazing. My only remark would be for travelers to be aware it’s an interior appartment hence you will not have much natural light. Nothing that Daniel can do to fix.

We have stayed at Luis place for 4 nights. Really good neighbourhood, very close to the center. Metro is quite close to the apartment as well as bus station, you need approximately 12 mins to get to La latina and to Sol around 15 mins. You can walk as well quite close. Apartment is very nice and Luis and Carmen are very friendly and nice people. Luis let us even to check in quite earlier without extra charge. I highly recommend his place.

Great apartment!! Right next to downtown Madrid, huge space, very well equipped and decorated! Lots of comfort! Raphael extremely friendly and helpful !

Beautiful apartment with a lot of space in an amazing location.

The apartment was spacious and very chic. The kitchen was very modern and clean. The primary bedroom bathroom was a little strange because it was clear glass looking into the toilet. So if you weee on the toilet and someone was in the bedroom there was no hiding. But if you are comfortable with your partner then is was fine. There is no elevator up to the second floor, which was fine, but the stairs are so old they are a bit warped so it was a little hard to walk on. They look really cool though, almost like live edge wood. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and close to all the main attractions. Would recommend!

Never been in a quieter apartment on such a busy street! This place is fabulous, right in the middle of the action; bars, restaurants, tour companies, fashion, architecture, cafes, adult stores, fast-food, music. Super cute flat, everything you need, comfortable bed, awesome balcony. Just steps away the hot dog place down stairs and the secret garden cafe next door are must try’s. Can’t miss booking this place for a visit to Madrid.

Azu and Dani's apartment is in a quiet, nice area and is as shown in the photos. Very clean and had everything you need to spend a few spectacular days in Madrid. Great Host !

Well equipped, comfortable and lovely location.

The stay in Isabel's apartment has been great. The treatment towards us from the reservation always so kind, close, nice. Upon arrival we find a dish with fruit , chocolate, tea box, milk and pasta. The apartment is nice, quiet, with very comfortable beds. The small terrace expands the living room and , being a ninth floor, the feeling is very good. I recommend this apartment, to which we will definitely return.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. The apartment was very quiet and also a very pleasant area. You can walk very quickly to the center. The apartment offers a lot of space. Always warm water in the shower and for the kitchen was also all you needed. Would definitely recommend this apartment.

What a fun and eclectic place! I highly recommend staying at Diego’s home. The pictures do t do the large tub and sauna justice. He has thought of all of the little things and his home is close to the train station with everything in walking distance.

Fourth time utilizing the location. Always a great pleasure being here. Host is extremely helpful and friendly. A standout for long stays.
