I just returned from a wonderfully therapeutic two-week stay at the Finca and can confirm it’s every bit as picturesque as it appears in the photos. There are plenty of cozy outdoor nooks and crannies from which to enjoy the rolling hills and nearby valley. Francisco and Maria have clearly devoted a lot of thought to both the outdoor and indoor design: the patios are framed by well-tended greenery, and the interior exudes a warm, arts-and-crafts-style ambience. Every amenity I needed was on hand—special shoutout to the large oven and cooking gear, which let me indulge my culinary passions without a hitch. Above all, the peace and quiet here are remarkable. While the property feels delightfully secluded, everything functions perfectly, from the filtered water and excellent plumbing (including an always-on hot tub) to the pellet heater that kept things cozy during my winter stay. In short, I had a magnificent time at the Finca, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Full marks from me!

Delightful,peaceful villa ,fully equipped and very comfortable bed.Hot tub great ; pool a little cool for February,only had one go! Lots to do in surrounding area as long as you have a car.Ronda and Gibraltar worth a visit. Kila very responsive to any questions. Thankyou for a lovely break from work.

It was great! The jacuzzi loved my partner and I, and the house had everything I needed to spend the weekend. There is for some coffee, the landlady will talk to buy firewood and we have spent in two days a car and a half of wood (lit all the time). The kitchen has everything you need and more, you just have to bring the food. The TV is smartTV but they do not have wifi, you can fix it using your mobile as a hotspot (look on the internet how it is done if you don't know). I recommend turning on the stove and not turning it off all weekend, because the house is a little cold and at night if it goes out you can get a little cold. I recommend to wear blankets, because although the house has me I was missing a bit at night. The village is great, it is an area to go visiting villages with the car by mountain road.

We stayed here for 4 weeks (family of 3) and it was the most wonderful holiday! So peaceful and quiet, well equipped house and a lovely pool. The beds are really comfortable and the aircon in the bedrooms was brilliant. Cómpeta is a beautiful town and worth a visit. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

The hosts were super responsive, and their finca was amazing. Would highly recommend.

This home is a beautiful farm house in the area - you feel right at home when you arrive and it makes you want to move in. The property is so peaceful, calming and great for kids and outdoor meals. The location is wonderful and right in the middle of all of the beaches in the area. The hosts are incredibly helpful and communicative (the best communication I've encountered with an airbnb) - always there to respond to you if you have questions and help with anything that comes up. The house is also incredibly well equipped for multiple guests and a longer stay - the photos don't reveal just how many dishes, pots and pans, and other supplies the home has. As well, the windows have screens which is a HUGE plus that many airbnbs in the area do not have. If you are there in cooler or wetter weather, the house does get a little bit damp if you are sensitive to that but that is pretty common for most places in the area and the hosts have put things in place to help with it.

I was guided by the photos and the comments and I did not fail to choose Puri's accommodation, she and her husband are people who are always available for any questions. Regarding the house is ideal, both inside and out, as well as for the location! Easy communication with many places that are paradisiacal to me! Very quiet and with everything you need for your stay! It was totally my pleasure!

The stay at Susana's house was great. Everything was very clean and cozy and had everything, which is not very common oil, coffee, cleaning products. They had bought us milk, water and juice that is to be appreciated The location of the house is very good for easy and quick reach to the Alhambra, Granada Centro and Sierra Nevada which was what we visited. Susana and her husband were very friendly, we felt right at home.

We had a wonderful week in this great apartment, right in the mountains. The pool is wonderful for afternoon cooling off. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. The location is nice and quiet but also so well located that in 20-30 minutes you are by the sea or in the middle of the mountains. I would recommend anyone to vacation there,

We felt totally comfortable with Pia, from the great view, the absolute tranquility, the great excursions and of course Bibi who welcomed us every morning. The accommodation is an absolute treasure if you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, 4 days were much too short for us.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Isabelle's place. The place was even more beautiful in real life! Very quiet. Very nice with all the animals around us (I'm going to miss the dog a bit😉). There are stunning views of the Odeceixe and the coast is within walking distance. Would 100% recommend.

John and Suzanne’s beautiful Cassita really is a one off. Surrounded by stunning gardens filled with fruit trees and flowers, it is by far our favourite accommodation we have stayed in. The pool and the surroundings are so peaceful, the perfect place to relax and unwind. The property is beautifully decorated and has a true Spanish feel to it, it has everything you could wish for and need during your stay. The perfectly presented breakfast, which is delivered to your door each morning, really is unexpected and another way the hosts go out of their way to look after you. John and Suzanne are the perfect hosts who are always on hand to help make your stay as comfortable as possible, if you are thinking of staying, you won’t regret it. We will definitely be back and will be recommending it to our family and friends.

We had very nice days at the property. We liked the beautiful and peaceful surroundings best. You definitely need a car to do something. And at very hot temperatures it could be very warm without air conditioning. But it was perfect for us. We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful time at Casa Comares! When we arrived, Angus and Sylvia were already waiting for us and they welcomed us warmly. We stayed at Casa Lova, a small, cozy little house with everything we needed. You could notice that attention was paid to the decor, the kitchen was complete and there was a lovely shower! Despite the somewhat lower temperatures in winter, we were able to have delicious breakfast outside every morning on our private terrace. We regularly got on the road bike to take a nice ride in the beautiful area: quiet roads, good asphalt and above all beautiful views! It's wonderful to be able to recover in the jacuzzi after that! In short: a top stay!

We absolutely loved our stay - the beautiful surroundings of the cortijo and the lovely interior which celebrates the sun when it's warm and is cosy in the evenings. It's a very short walk into the village and Lubrin is the perfect midpoint to drive to lots of fantastic beaches and towns for daytrips. Our dog absolutely loved the setting with plenty of outdoor space for her to run around, and Sam was amazing with communication and recommendations/advice. Thanks for having us Sam!

Super nice contact with Karolina. The location was okay with us, but walking to shopping or eating is actually not possible. For this, you can reach the super beautiful hiking trail between Luz and Burgau directly from the property. Perfect for jogging! The pool is very nice too! In addition, each apartment has a barbecue that we liked to use! The site is well maintained. The dryer is worth its weight in gold! This will be shared. Just back from a week stay at the Casita. Wow this is part of a beautifully restored farmhouse. A peaceful rural location but ideally situated for exploring the Almeria region with main towns such as Heurcal Overa,Taberno, Velez Rubio and Mojacar within easy driving reach. Everything you need has been provided for self catering here. Your hosts Julie and Paul are amazing so friendly and helpful which was great for me as a solo traveller. The jewel in the crown has to be the pool area...such an added bonus to come back to chill and relax here. I loved my stay and will be back.
