Where do we even begin? From the moment we arrived, it felt like staying with long-lost relatives who actually like you. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with thoughtful touches that screamed, ‘We’re overachievers, but in a good way.’ The hosts went above and beyond in ways that felt almost suspicious. We opened the fridge to find bubbly waiting for us (are we royalty now?), and there were chocolates on the counter like they somehow knew our love language. As if that wasn’t enough, we spent an unforgettable evening soaking in the hot tub while it snowed, overlooking the most serene lake view we’ve ever seen. It was like being in a Hallmark movie but without the small-town drama. Every detail was so thoughtful, from the cozy blankets to the recommendations that made us feel like locals. This wasn’t just a stay; it was an experience we’ll be talking about for years. If you’re considering booking, do it. Just don’t book the weekend we want to come back, okay?

Perfect for 4 adult couples. Large table and spacious dining/living area for all to relax and play games. Can walk to everything in less that 10 minutes. Thanks John!

Jo was a wonderful host, and her Airbnb was an amazing find. We have young children, and it was a great benefit to be able to stay in such an accessible location. Downtown South Haven has a trove of restaurants and shops, and was only a block away. The beach was a five-minute walk, if that. Lastly, for being in such a central location, Jo’s place still felt private and peaceful. The house is beautiful and very well-kept. Kitchen was extremely well-stocked and the beds were very comfortable. One of our favorite things was having coffee on the back patio and taking in the lovely views of Lake Michigan and the marina. We were so glad to have found this rental, and made many great memories!

The house was beautifully appointed. The kitchen was well outfitted with dishes, glassware, cutlery and pots and pans. There were even some spices! Great coffeemaker. Lovely open floor plan and all the beds were super comfortable! When we first arrived there was soft jazz playing on the living room tv—a nice touch! We had a great weekend!

My family of three had a great stay. Our daughter had a hockey tournament at the Compton ice arena and Stephanie was so helpful. We even thought we’d have to extend our stay, so a bit of back and forth communication. She was there to help if we needed to stay longer or cut our time short. Loved her support. From when I booked the house to when I checked out. The house is adorable. Great attention to detail with their AirBnb. Every little detail was thought of which made our stay that much more enjoyable. Would 100% be back.

Great location with an easy drive to many different activities. Home was well taken care of, private, easy to get to, and had everything we needed for a great weekend on the west side. Would stay here again.

Christi made our visit back to our gramma’s house very special. So many fond memories were made in this house many years ago. This summer we created new memories as we reconnected with family. The cottage was well maintained with all the amenities. It was spacious, the outdoor space was great for our cookout and sitting by the fire pit! Christi was great about checking in to see if we needed anything and answering any questions. I would highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a cozy home, close to town and the beach!

This home is nice. Has 4 bedrooms, kitchen, nice back yard with fire pit. You can walk into downtown which we did one day but it is as easy to drive. he has a nice wagon you could use for the beach that folds up. one bedroom on first floor with king bed. one bathroom/shower on first floor with same rook as laundry. upstairs has three bedrooms. two with king beds and one with two full size bunk beds. one bathroom with bath upstairs. dining room table easily seats 8. huge tv on main level
