Beachfront vacation rentals in Atami

Spend a couple days exploring The Izu Peninsula in late March/early April & decided to spend a night in Shimoda. Naomi’s was the perfect fit. Easy to find, more than enough space to sleep our party of four & a responsive host. Because we only spent the night we weren’t able to make use of all the amenities the property had to offer, but from what we could see, it was steps away from the beach with places to eat nearby & some nice outdoor amenities perfect for the warmer months. House was immaculate with some minor issues (fridge & tv) but the positives far outweighed them, especially since we were only looking for a place to warm up and rest. Naomi’s place totally fit the bill. We would definitely come back if we’re back in the area.

This time, I stayed with three families (a total of 11 people + 1 dog). It was detailed information in advance, and check-in was also smooth.The room was spacious enough and the view from the room was excellent. The room was well cleaned, the kitchen was well equipped, and we had a very comfortable stay. We'd love to stay again if we get the chance.

Six adults, four children, and a dog stayed together.The family was also very happy.The view from the window is very beautiful.It was easy to shop.We would like to use it again when we can go into the sea.

The room was very clean and there were multiple bathrooms, which was very helpful!Also, Don Quijote was very close and it was very good to be able to shop right away.

It was a great escape to nature and beach to unwind and relax. The host was so kind and helpful, we enjoyed the BBQ, Breakfast, YOGA, beach front! The onsen was interesting lets say with alot of spiders and bugs and crabs, one huge spider the size of my hand started walking towards us in the onsen so we left as kids were scared. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding beaches and the area. This beach is definitely the best beach in Shimoda and the cave was spectacular.

Abhi was an amazing host. He was waiting for our arrival and walked us through the property. His place has awesome character, like high quality speakers (audiophiles would enjoy this). During our stay, Abhi offered us fresh fruits from his garden. It was an extremely personable experience.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations by miles. we felt at home when we arrived at the accommodation from the homey vibes and the host’s attention to cleanliness. we had everything we needed and more. what sets this stay apart is the hospitality of the host who immediately recommended the nearest hospital to us when one of us fell sick. if you are looking for a comfortable stay close to beautiful attractions this is the way to go. thank you for the hospitality and wonderful stay! 😁😁

Great place to relax on the beach! Very clean, very nice Onsen bathroom! Very quiet little village, plan to use a car if you come during the low season because few restaurants are open.

Alex was extremely helpful and responsive throughout. The house was beautiful and spotless. We enjoyed grilling and eating together with that gorgeous view. Other highlights were the pool and generous and attractive spaces for bathing and grooming. Great experience overall!

İt was one of my best stays. The house is so cosy and peaceful. The view is amazingly beautiful. I spent very lovely days and had a good retreat. The route to the house is quite steep, but it's worth the exercise and the scenery you get. There are nice routes surrounding. I will definitely come back again. Check in was flexible and easy! We were picked up and guided at the street, very nice! The accommodation is quite old but we find have much issues with it. The viel was amazing!!!!

Tomomi's place is perfect for those who want to explore Usami. Tomomi is welcoming and make us feel like home. You can even borrow their bikes for free to explore around.

The beach is right there, you can see the sea even if you are sitting in the dining room, the stars are beautiful, the location was great!It was a family trip for three generations, but I would like to come back again. There is no microwave, so I thought that if you have small children, you need to be creative with your belongings.

Our family of 5 stayed at Mayumi’s place for 5 nights. We really enjoyed the space, especially the kids room. The house corresponds to the description, it is a traditional Japanese home, it was fun to experience this! It is situated in a residential area so it is very quiet. 15-20 min walk to Odawara station. There is no grocery stores nearby so you have to plan and shop near the station. Mayumi is very friendly and responsive. She also did us a favour which was greatly appreciated. Overall I recommend this place!

What a lovely and thoughtful host, beautiful home, comfortable beds, hot shower with good water pressure, many amenities like hair straightener, extra towels, hair dryer, toaster oven. not to mention host has stocked the freezer with icecream and thoughtfully delivered us a snack pack 😋 🥰 check in was a little time consuming becuse it's on an ipad and I couldn't get the lighting right for taking passport photos, but I got it after a while and then it was easy. it is a fantastic sized house and very well kept, presented and comfortable. walkable distance to transport and there's even a cute orange cat that comes to say hi in the street 🤩
