Family-friendly vacation rentals in Assens

Using the hot tube while it's cold and rainy with fireworks during new years eve is probably the best way to end the year. Our Hosts were super friendly and kind, the cottage is very cozy and we loved and enjoyed the cd music collection from the 80s to the 2000s on a solid soundsystem. The neighborhood is peaceful and friendly, the beach is very nice, but if you are into restaurants and siteseeing you have to go to the nearby cities of Fredericia, Vejle or Kolding, which requires to drive by car. But walking through the neighborhood has its very own charm. We will for sure come again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The view, location were wonderful. Also the accommodation itself was lovely and well equipped. However, we would not describe them as luxurious, but rather slightly above average. If we had to complain a bit, it was (only) ok clean on arrival. Single dishes were dirty in the closet, for example, several cups and glasses had cracks and, for example, the bathtub was not clean. In the sauna, the number of sauna bins could be increased. We still felt very comfortable and definitely recommend the place!

We had some wonderful Christmas days at Nina and Erik's house. Good space and really good decor of the house. Incredibly beautiful views. Lovely quiet surroundings. A good little communal playground that the family's smallest made good use of. Short trip to the water.

We stayed in Jesper's cottage for just under 2 weeks with 2 adults and 2 children. The location was great , 2 minutes from the beach. At the time of year it was still quite quiet in Hasmark , but that was a great advantage. You had the beach to yourself , many sights were not crowded and you could spend really nice days with the family in Denmark. The place was fully compliant with the description. Totally cozily furnished cottage in a quiet location. We liked the evening warm up by the fireplace :) We felt very comfortable. Jesper is a great host. I have to highlight the quick and friendly communication with Jesper. The developed pointed floor was our son's highlight. Play Lego at noon, watch the ships in the evening. Shopping facilities can be reached within 10 minutes. We will be back in the summer! Thanks Jesper ;)

An amazing stay for us and our kids. We really enjoyed the kitchen (everything was there), the nice jacuzzi, the huge tv and we slept like angels. We would have stayed langer if we could!

We spent two lovely days in this very nice villa close to the city center - walking distance to everything. We lacked nothing, however, some of the beds were right on the narrow side for sleepers of 185 +... We had a great communication with the host couple and the place is highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Marianne and Tom's. They were attentive and considerate. The apartment matches the images and description. We were there at 4 for 1 week. A small bathroom but convenient and full of storage solutions in the apartment. There were drinks and cereal bars on arrival, which were very much appreciated. Everything is there so no need to take extra things like sponge, towels, dish soap etc. We were able to chat a little and I really enjoyed this moment of exchange. They are very friendly people who represent the Danish state of mind.

We had a lovely stay in a nice house in a nice area

We have been on vacation through airbnb many times, but this was the most amazing place of all. A nice house with very nice garden, with large trampoline, hammocks and several places to sit. With a few minutes walk you are on a kind of private beach, where you can swim and especially have a beautiful view. You can also walk to the port from there. Peace seekers who are not fond of luxury will definitely enjoy themselves here.

Lovely place, completely bed to the water and close to Faaborg. Will definitely book again another time if I get to those parts.

The apartment is located in the right wing of the 3-sided courtyard. The very large living room/kitchen room is on the ground floor, bedroom and bathroom upstairs. From the living room you can access a large terrace and into the huge garden, where we liked to play badminton. The kitchen is well equipped, and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. Everything was very clean! The house sits on a quiet street, and we were able to relax great with the magnificent tranquility. Dorte and Knut were very nice hosts and we immediately got along well with you. We would really appreciate it if it turns out again to visit there again!

It was beautiful days at Helle and Jan's with autumnal hikes on the beaches, through forests and along the many fields. The house is quiet, the view is great and the hosts are very friendly. We felt very comfortable, would have liked to stay longer and would be happy to come back. The place is also very suitable for colder days or nights. Thank you!!

Our stay was wonderful and this place is big enough for 8 people’s everything of your need was there. The team is very responsive and friendly. The surrounding was beautiful .

We stayed at Petra’s place for Christmas holidays and Petra was so kind that she decorated the house for us. The place is a typical Danish summerhouse and has everything you need. The area is quiet and pleasant.

We had a really good stay, and the pool makes the Danish summer weather less. A few hundred meters to good beach with several bathing bridges. You get what you see in the photos, and there's an airfryer. However, the house needs a loving hand soon. Painting outside and black grout in the bathrooms. The bathroom to the pool area is very labeled by the chlorine. If you're thinking about starting the jacuzzi, it's important to know the chlorine level because if it's too low, the pool is closed. The house has 5 double bedrooms, but we were given single sheets. There is the large Weber charcoal grill, but it was filled with ashes upon arrival. We returned it in a cleaned/empty condition. It is about 35 km to Dancenter Sønderborg where the keys are picked up/returned. There may be scheduling with a ferry to/from Funen doesn't matter.

Lovely cottage if you are a larger crowd to go together. Delicious amenities. Located in scenic area. Recommendation from here.

We had a great time in the cottage. It's more beautiful than it shows in the pictures. You can walk to the beach via the inner road in no time. Nice cottage with a really summer feeling. Car also nice next to the cottage. Good and clear communication with Søren. Recommended.
