Great place for a peaceful getaway. The cabin layout is great with plenty of room to spread out. Well stocked with plenty of pots, pans and utensils. The fire pit is Great! Lauren is a pleasure to deal with, very responsive and friendly! Highly recommend this experience.

Great weekend getaway with my fiancé! The cabin had so much charm and character. We loved how quiet and peaceful it was. Great views of the Black River. There are a ton of good hiking spots nearby! Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.

This house delivers on every level. The views are fantastic. You feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but a grocery store is only 10 min away. And the hosts made sure we had everything we needed from propane and firewood, To even giving a gift and some s’mores ingredients!

Pet friendly made our trip so much easier! The layout was perfect with the sliding glass doors leading to the deck so I could see my son inside, but everyone else outside at the water. Firewood was provided which was unexpected, but greatly appreciated. Blankets and pillows were plentiful. Outside lighting was above expectation, and also appreciated. Ability to do laundry. Clear and easy entry/directions. Multiple areas outside for hanging out. Multiple BBQ grills etc in various locations. Drawers and cabinets were stocked in the kitchen so we had everything we needed. Plenty of towels which was handy for the kids using the hot tub. Both bedrooms having their own bathroom was convenient. TV in both bedrooms. Folder with local menus.

A wonderful backup plan and place to stay when our original plans fell through on the first night of our trip. complete opposite of our horrible first night experience at a different place and was very satisfying to get a good rest and be comfortable in our rental Matthew provided.

Secluded Riverfront Luxury Cabin on Black River

This is the kind of place I’m afraid to praise for fear that the secret will get out and this beautiful cabin will suddenly be booked up for months. It really couldn’t be any more perfect. The view is stunning and it’s immensely private. There are plenty of gorgeous spots to sit and do absolutely nothing, which was our goal. While everything in the description was as good or better than I thought possible, we also were thrilled by the heated master bath floor. Great communication with the host made the entire smooth and easy. I can’t imagine looking for another cabin to stay at for our next vacation.

My family and I have stayed at Lara's place the last few years, and we absolutely love it! There is no clutter but plenty of seating and lots of space to stretch and move about. The location is private and perfectly close to our family in Jackson. Everything is always clean and inviting. Perfect home away from home!
