Vacation rentals in Armathwaite

We spoke to Janice a few times whilst we were at the cottage. Janice was lovely, extra friendly and very accommodating. We’ve visited previously and will be back very soon.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Greg’s place “Penthouse”. Communication was very clear and with all the information we needed to hit the ground running on our little trip away to Bowness. We found the place easy enough thanks to the instructions provided by Greg and it was great to have private, dedicated parking space - something we’ve not had before when we’ve stayed in such a central location before. Self check in was really smooth using the lockbox to let ourselves In. The penthouse was spotlessly clean. Bed was incredibly comfy and didn’t want to get up this morning! Kitchen facilities were great with everything we needed to cook a fab breakfast before heading out for a days walking. And the view from the living area, wow! The location of penthouse was second to none, only 2 minutes walk and we were in Bowness where there was a great selection of bars and restaurants for our evening meal and a few drinks. Overall a fantastic stay! We’ll be back!

We stayed here for a family get together, there was 16 of us, but it felt like there was plenty of space and lots to do in the house. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were comfy and the hot tub was lovely after a day of walking. Highly recommend!

Lovely cottage with lots of cool quirks! We were very comfortable and enjoyed exploring Coniston and the surrounding area.

A really beautiful cabin, super cute and a clean place to stay. We woke up for the sunrise with animals to look at. This was my favourite part. The hot tub was really nice and the cabin had everything you could need. The destination is a bit further more remote from most the popular places in the Lake District. However, this did not affect our stay as there is a town nearby and lots of walks. Also, it is only a drive away to more popular towns where you can drive through the beautiful countryside. Kirk Andrews house was a fantastic place to stay for a large group, we were four adults and five children. It was equipped with everything we needed, rooms were large & clean, bathrooms equipped with plenty towels & also toiletries. The pool table was an added bonus which the kids loved. For such a big house it was lovely & warm, the only criticism is the chairs & sofas which are well past their best and in need of replacing but this did not spoil our stay at all. The house is very private and surrounded by beautiful views on all sides, lovey walks all around too.

Great little apartment. Pristine. We arrived a little early and expected to explore the town, but Philip was happy for us to check in and showed us how everything worked. Very comfortable. Near amenities. Lovely break 👍

Three families had a wonderful weekend. Kids had the best hide and seek sessions in the big rambling house, lots of space for resting chatting cooking and playing, hot tub and excellent bonus. Kitchen was the best stocked we've ever seen. Thank you!
