Family-friendly vacation rentals in Arlington Heights

From the beginning Ting and Ning had excellent communication that made the booking experience at their rental extremely easy. My questions were answered in a timely manner and the instructions were clear. The home was beautiful and the comfort was so manageable that my guests and i were so sad for it to end. The fruit when we walked in was much needed because we were starving. The home was such a great experience and i would definitely book with Ting and Ning again. Thank you for such an amazing weekend!!!

Could not recommend this stay more! I booked for my family for Christmas (~11 people total), and we had more than enough space to go around. The area was serene, the house immediately felt like a home and was easy to settle into (well-equipped for all our needs, warm given the snow, plenty of DVDs and board games), etc. For anyone considering staying in the Poconos in the winter, this is an incredible choice! For anyone staying in the summer - I have no comment, but given the furnishings and vibes, this would be my first pick for a summer lake trip.

This was our second time staying here, and it was just as great as the first! The house is huge, kitchen and bathrooms beautifully renovated since the last time we were there, and the backyard is wonderful to look at with the lake. We got snowed in with a bad snow/ice storm, but it didn't bother us with the indoor hot tub and sauna! 10/10, would absolutely stay again. Thanks, Olga!

Just spent a long weekend at Trevor and Heidi’s place and it was incredible. Beautiful home with plenty of space for everyone. We had a group of 10. The house had everything! Every amenity we could think off. The kitchen was perfectly stocked. The game room with pool table and shuffle board along with the Xbox and board games were a huge hit with the kids. The best part was the hot tub that everyone enjoyed all weekend. Trevor and Hedi are great hosts. They were proactive in reaching out and were very quick to respond to any question we had. Would highly recommend Trevor and Heidi’s place for families or friends gatherings. We will be back!

Booked with Mary very last minute and was pleasantly surprised with how nice the house was! Very comfy, had plenty of amenities, and was right near the lake with a beautiful view. Very peaceful area, would absolutely recommend and book again.

Great location!

Great location for Skiing at Cambelback, ski in / ski out was convenient. We loved having the option to swim at the pool. The unit was clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals, etc. Loved the fact that linens are provideds and washed.

We have stayed multiple times at Jeffrey’s properties. Never disappoints, close walk to bars/restaurants. Great response times and very accommodating. We will stay again!!

Great location, super close to Camelback. Great spot for a family or 2 with kids. The basement was great with games for the kids. The house was clean and had space for skis and equipment. Michael was super communicative. Would definitely rent there again!

It was absolutely perfect and exactly what we were looking for! We took full advantage of the dart board area and the bedrooms were super comfortable. We had no questions about anything pertaining to the house because Yevgeniy had written out clear instructions through out the house and he messaged them to us too. Overall would highly recommend staying here.

We’ve stayed at Nicole’s cabin every winter for several years and love it. She’s easy to work with and accommodated our changing schedule with a newborn.

We were first time visitors to Jim Thorpe and we were so fortunate to have stayed at The Van Pelt House! It was an ideal location, we walked everywhere and returning each day felt like coming home. The house is beautiful, snug, and comfortable. Helen even left us snacks and a bottle of wine. The back deck and the fire pit patio was wonderful and a great place to relax. Helen was the perfect host and we very much look forward to returning.

Our family has stayed at Arek's house three times before this trip. The location is great. The house is at the deeper end of the lake, so you can easily swim from the shore. There are three kayaks and a rowboat to use on the lake. The deck is a great place to drink coffee in the morning and eat dinner at night. For creature comforts the beds are super comfortable and the wifi is speedy fast. We will definitely stay there again.

Magda’s cabin was the perfect winter getaway! It was cozy and warm, with a functional kitchen and dining space that made meals easy and enjoyable. The family room was spacious, offering a beautiful view—especially when it snowed during our trip. The three bedrooms were well-maintained, each with a comfortable queen bed that made for a great night’s sleep. Magda was incredibly responsive and flexible, making our stay even smoother. We would absolutely book here again!

We had a great time here. This is a dog and kid friendly stay with board games, TV and most kitchen supplies. The house is cozy and we had a lot of fun! Don is super helpful, responsive and considerate. Great place to chill with friends and family!

Beautiful place and a great host

Perfect place for my family getaway celebrate my mom’s birthday. We all enjoyed the spacious accommodations and stunning lake views. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was clean, spacious, very warm despite the cold, and had a terrific pool table and air hockey table. Our family relaxed and spent good time together.

Great unit with plenty of space and access to the mountain. Would definitely recommend.

Great house for our annual friend group ski trip. Large, spacious, and plenty of room for 16 adults. Place was clean, and easy access to Camelback Ski Resort (about 8 miles). House was missing some key essential items in the kitchen (sponge, cooking and baking sheets, broom, half the toaster didn't work). But we were able to grab those items at a nearby grocery store. Game room is heated and was a nice touch, and we got great use of the 4-6 person hot tub. Would recommend to any large group and would come back again!

Red was a great host! Extremely responsive and acted right away on all of our needs. The community had a lot going for it with their own ski hill, sledding hill and indoor pools. I would highly recommend this place.

Linda is a good host and responded to all my questions immediately. The house was clean and was ready for us on time. Instructions were very clear. It was a good & comfortable stay for 15 of us. Location was the best and was close to all the attractions.

Absolutely GORGEOUS home and the view from the patio. All the little details in the decor did not go unnoticed! We really enjoyed our one-night stay. The couch was comfy, and there were extra cozy blankets that were easy to find. We look forward to booking this spot again in the future.
