Ito San is an amazing host and a very kind person who went above and beyond to ensure our stay at Moon and Sky was comfortable and enjoyable. From meeting us at the train station upon arrival to providing a thorough tour of the house and offering helpful recommendations for local events, Ito San's hospitality was truly outstanding. The room and the house was very clean, spacious, and well-equipped during our long-term stay, and we appreciated the opportunity to interact with locals and other guests during the weekends. This is by far the best Airbnb experience I have ever had! I highly recommend Moon and Sky to anyone seeking a long or short-term stay in Wakayama, and I can't thank Ito San enough for making our time there so memorable.

Coconuts Traditional Japanese Wooden Townhouse

XiaoyuRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Mr. Xia is a very hospitable host, he provided a lot of help and local tips when we checked in, recommended a lot of local places to go, thank him very much ~ The house has some history but has been renovated, the facilities are clean and well used, the bathroom needs to be shared but there is no inconvenience, the house is full of interesting arrangements and smells good smell of sandalwood, the bed is also very soft, we stayed two nights very good, and the car rental also has a parking location, it is close to the sea, highly recommended to stay ~

This was one of the best accommodations we've ever booked. It was our first time in Wakayama, so having a comfortable and convenient place to stay was essential. The location is within walking distance to the nearest station, and the home itself is spacious, spotless, and fully equipped with all the amenities we needed. We're a family of three, but the space could easily accommodate more. The host was incredibly responsive and welcoming. There's also a grocery store nearby, which made it easy to pick up everything we needed during our stay. Thank you!

Cozy place like my home. Host is very friendly and great hospitality. I spent most of the time at share living place rather than walking around a village because it's super comfortable with host and other guests, having a chat. I wish I could stay more. Thank you so much.

What a fantastic place, the owners are both fantastic and they cook the best meals we had in our Japan holidays, you can see and feel the passion for what they do, they own a tea farm and their tea is really delicious, they are very accommodating and they will help you with anything, definitely worth every single dollar. [World Heritage Takayama B] Kokoro no Tsuboyasu Little Retreat House Ikkosho (6-tatami Japanese-style room for 1 person with desk)

MariaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
This home was a good place to rest and reset. A bit farther from the temple stays and main road. The shared spaces in the first floor were nice and clean. The rooms upstairs are beautiful and traditional. We were the only guests there when we stayed, so it was as if having the house to ourselves. Overall a good experience.
