Places to stay in Arcadia

Leah is an extraordinary woman of character, experience and truly cares about her guests. I can attest to that according to two conversations we had, as i was attending a wedding on 3 days, with some amount of down time. Our first was a coffee together in her well-kept and remarkable backyard (crazy tropical trees;) a second was when I needed her help. There's no way anyone might review her property any differently - unless they do something inappropriate, like not leave when they're supposed to. Then she's a badass! I was an Airbnb host myself, so I know a great one when I experience it!

We transferred over to Richard’s Airbnb location seamlessly during the last hurricane. The place was very spacious, comfortable, with high end finishings, easily accommodating myself, daughter, granddaughter, and pet. Richard was a great host especially considering the circumstances. Very responsive and openly communicative when needed or necessary. We would definitely stay at Richard’s Place again when in the area. Eric - out of state traveler

Stayed here for one week with my fiancé and 3 month old baby. It was everything we needed. The location was great, almost everywhere we went was within a 15 min drive being close to downtown and the beaches. Everything was very clean and Montana was a great responsive host. We did however leave behind a bigger frying pan and wine opener as I feel these will come in handy for others. Unfortunately we did not get to use the pool much as it was a bit cold at night however I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Denises place was fantastic, easily accessible to the attractions in Downtown Sarasota and all of the surrounding areas. Short Uber rides were always available when the free trolley was not aligning with our schedules! The ONLY complaint which is extremely minor would be that the lock on the door doesn’t always like the cooperate and can take a few tries from the outside to lock and unlock, but other than that i highly recommend staying here

It was both very comfortable and quiet; that’s just what we were hoping for! All the information was simple and clear. Lynn checked in with us by email the day before we came and the day before we left. And she also gave us a quick call during our stay to see if everything was O.K.; that was the perfect plan for us. We plan to stay there the next time we go to Sarasota.

Our family of four had a great stay at Sandy’s. Our kids loved the game room and we all enjoyed the hot tub. The beds were very comfortable. There were a few small questions/things that came up during the week and Sandy was extremely responsive. The house is well-appointed and we had what we needed for our week there.

Staying here was amazing, and we’re so grateful to the hosts for our wonderful stay in their gorgeous house. They went above and beyond to welcome us and give us relief from our hurricane repairs. I can’t imagine staying in a nicer, more welcoming place, and I so appreciated their willingness to work with our shifting schedule. The home is so beautifully and comfortably furnished, and it’s in a fantastic, safe location. It felt like we were in an HGTV show home! Everything was in new condition, and it was excellent quality and very comfortable. We loved the bed in the main bedroom. (Thanks to the host for sharing the purchase details so that we can buy the same model!) Our guests who stayed in the two bedrooms on the opposite side of the house loved their beds and the rooms. The layout is perfect for a family or three couples, and all rooms have excellent privacy and lovely views. The view is fantastic, and we loved porch sunsets and walks in the waterfront park across the street.

Great house close to everything. Kitchen is beautifully updated and functional. Big yard which is a bonus. Andrew was super responsive and thoughtful.

A great home away from home for a mini getaway. It was a perfect private space for me and my mom for a few days. The outdoor patio was a lovely place to sit and chat after a long day. A good area to stay in if you have a car and or plan on having a ride. Location is about a 15 minute drive to the public beach access area. She provided towels and beach gear :) Yummy breakfast and dinner establishments are close by. The space was super clean and just the right amount of space for 2 people. Paulette was a great host and very responsive!

Svetlana was super responsive and flexible with our stay. It was such a relief to have the quick responses and a friendly host!

Great accommodations with simple and tasteful elegance. Peaceful setting and convenient to everything we were interested in—museums, beach, restaurants and stores. Couldn’t ask for a better place.
