We stayed at this lovely property for 4 nights. Super clean and tidy and everything had been thought of. Lovely outdoor and bbq area. Stacey was a great communicator and couldn’t have done anymore to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommended

This was our fourth stay at Misty River Lodge and won’t be our last. My family, including our little Jack Russell Terrier, loves Helen and Craig’s place. I especially love seeing how the gardens have evolved. We enjoy visiting the beaches up and down the coast — Scotts Head is a favourite — and we love to find new places to eat. Coffs Harbour is only a 45 minute drive north and South West Rocks is just 30 minutes south, so it’s a really central location and close to the highway but so quiet and peaceful. The bird song is relaxing and if you’re an early riser, you might even see the local swamp wallaby down near the creek. We were treated to fresh quail eggs, deliciously sweet tomatoes and tasty vegetables from the garden. As Helen said when we arrived… “Welcome home!” … because it does feel like a home away from home.

RJ and Robert’s place was fantastic! Great, responsive hosts, easy walking to local shops, restaurants, Sunday market (have a doughnut!), and the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Loved the soaker tub!

The first thing you notice about The Boat House is the amount of space and options for sleeping, socialising and engaging in activities. The attention to detail, from catering to supplying everything a family might need for an enjoyable stay, is outstanding. My favourite part of the experience was the beautiful view over the water while dining on the verandah. The Boat House is perfect for families and multiple couples.

The home was neat tidy and gave us room for relatives to drop in. Appreciated the cot and high chair being available. Price, I thought, was a little high but was the only one available with the space and bedrooms we required.

This place is a true gem for those looking to experience a quiet place on the central coast. We had not been to Scott's Head before and chose the house due to it being both a great deal and pet friendly and we left feeling like we had won the lottery! Views amazing, house has everything and more that you could want and the is beach pristine. We didn't want to leave!!

Great stay! Denise and Brett were very welcoming and responsive and even helped out with a flat tire! Lovely location with great amenities and friendly cows. Perfect recommendations in the local area provided

Beautiful, quiet location in an apartment that has plenty of room that is furnished impeccably by wonderful hosts who've thought and provided everything. Facilities and cleanliness are absolutely fantastic- like yhe hosts Valerie and Stuart!

Comfortable, welcoming, relaxing home with a great fully fenced backyard for our dog. Spent a lot of time on the spacious back deck relaxing in the beautiful weather. Close to the beach. Pauline was very knowledgable about the local area with suggestions of things to do and places to see. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Pauline.

Hidden Gem! a beautiful cottage in nature with all the amenities and air conditioning. the pet barriers on the verandah were such an added plus. Beds were super comfy and artwork was beautiful.

Claire was an amazing host and her place was perfect for our weekend away. Regardless of the weather the views were beautiful and Claire has thought of everything you need including a fireplace stocked and ready to start. We can’t wait to come back.

Our stay at Jane’s home was spectacular! The home was so cosy with all amenities you need to have a restful, recharging time away. Only a short drive into Kempsey, Crescent head town (for a delish coffee and bakery!) and nearby beaches but still secluded enough to fully relax away from the world! Highly recommend this stay - Janes hospitality was wonderful. Would absolutely stay again!

Wonderful stay in an excellent location. The hosts were incredibly responsive and thoughtful. The location was perfect, plenty of privacy but close enough to nearby towns for convenience. The private pool was the highlight—clean, refreshing, and so peaceful. We loved lounging by the water and enjoying the serene surroundings. 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing escape.

Di is an amazing host who goes above and beyond to please her guests. She arranged a birthday sign for my hubby as the get away was a gift for him. She lent us fishing gear cos we forgot ours and offered the use of her kayaks. The fridge, cupboards and linen were generously provided and our dog was made to feel as welcome as us. Bogan villa is exactly as described and Boganville and nearby Laurieton have a lot to offer for holiday makers

This was one of the coolest airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed in! Sam was very kind and helpful and the farmhouse was clean and absolutely perfect for our family. The kids loved playing outside and seeing all animals around (chickens, dogs, cows, guinea pigs). Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great stay out of the city with amazing hosts!

It was short stay and we definitely will come back to this very cozy place!! We got 2 little dogs with us and my puppies absolutely love did g friendly beach just 2 min walk to it! OMG 😍 this place is absolutely devine. Gary went out of his way to ensure our stay was amazing, without issue and extremely peaceful. We had 13 of us stay there, there was more than enough room without getting under each others feet. The pool table was a massive hit with everyone and the kids absolutely loved exploring. We will definitely be making this place our yearly family holiday location 😍 Highly recommend booking this place x

Our stay at The Pines was everything we hoped it would be. From booking to checkout, James was the perfect host. His communication was friendly , timely , helpful and informative and made the whole process simple and straightforward. The Pines is beautifully renovated and presented- we felt relaxed from the moment we arrived. The best description of the space is understated luxury! Beds are super comfortable with a choice of pillows (a much appreciated touch!) as are the rest of the furnishings. The oversized dining table is gorgeous. Location is peaceful and quiet, a short walk to both river and ocean. Everything you need is provided - all we had to do was bring food , a good book and ourselves! So happy to have found such an incredible place to get away - looking forward to staying again. Thanks James, for making it such a trouble free and relaxing stay.

Dan’s studio had everything we needed for our overnight stay in Port Macquarie. Millie loved the garden and we enjoyed sitting out eating our dinner while she zoomed around. Thanks for having us!

Beautiful getaway location. My kids commented "this house reminds us of the islands". 3 minute walk to the beach and so peaceful with lovely surroundings. Frank is a awesome host, kept us informed and made sure everything was comfortable with our stay. 100% reccomend for anyone wanting to escape the busy city rush for a few days!
