House vacation rentals in Apalachicola

From my original first ever Airbnb booking in June to my stay in December/January Laura was very communicative and had super fast responses to all my inquiries. The home was all it’s advertised to be and more!! My family was very comfortable in the space and everything we could need was there. The area is very peaceful with all the action just down the road. She’s not kidding when she says the kitchen is a chefs dream!! It has everything you could possibly need and it’s all of great quality as well!! We thoroughly enjoyed preparing meals on the damp days and just hanging out together in the beautiful space! The kids enjoyed the heated pool and the close beach access is perfect!! I would give Laura 10 stars if I could!! She’s fantastic!!

We loved this house. It had everything we could hope for- and a pool too! The house is set back from the beach the perfect distance, and it was so comfortable for our family. I know I’ll be coming back with more family next time. The kitchen had everything you could hope for, there were lots of pool/beach toys and chairs, and there were tons of board games available for our party. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was incredible in the shower.

It’s been one of our favorite places to stay at so far. If you’re a tourist, they have great recommendations such as restaurants, family friendly activities, night life, etc. We also took our fur babies and they had such a great time playing in the backyard. House was super clean and spacious. Check in was easy. Overall, great house, experience, and hostesses.

The house was just as described!!! Perfect for large family. My husband and I took our 3 grown children, their spouses and our 20 month old grand baby. There was plenty of room for all of us to feel like we had privacy and space. We enjoyed the pool in the backyard and the community pool. There is a walkway/bikeway/scooter way to get to the beach that is just down the street from the house. But with the toddler, we found it easier to drive to the public beach access that’s just a short drive away. The walk was shorter since there’s just so much to pack to the beach with a toddler!! The house was well equipped with beach chairs, beach umbrella, a wagon, and beach toys. We did purchase a cheap plastic baby pool that we found very convenient at the beach to keep the toddler contained and in the shade of an umbrella. We left it in the garage for others to use. Just pour a few buckets of ocean water and some toys in it!! The kitchen was well equipped. There was even a bottle of wine!!

Evacuated from idalia after learning we would not have power for weeks. We found refuge there last minute and the time between booking and checkin was within hours of each other. Very responsive very kind. The home was perfect. Lots of room. The separate pool house was ideal for our teenagers. I was so grateful just for power but this home far exceeded that.

Great house, pool house was a great amenity, comfortable and clean. Plenty of space for a large family. Loved the pool, and great outdoor space. Beautiful park only 1 mile away, with boat launch and swimming area with a small beach and nice playground. 5 star.

Jamie’s house was perfect for our vacation. We loved being able to walk to the beach and having a raw oyster bar right down the street. We appreciated that Jamie’s house was dog friendly and had a fenced in backyard. We enjoyed a nice relaxing time and getting away from northern snow country for awhile.

we came for spring break and met up with cousins (Philly and Indiana). Port St Joe was the perfect spot for relaxing days directly on the beach, a spacious and clean home to host our reunion and was even accommodating of our 1 year old. We have zero complaints and would definitely rent again.

Great spot and location. Close to windmark beach. Very spacious, clean and well decorated unit. Port St Joe is very laid back with beautiful beaches. Community amenities were good - heated pool, local gym, pizza restaurant, liquor store, etc. Property met our expectations and Neil was very responsive. Also - having bikes and beach chairs was appreciated. The one sticking point - I would have liked to have a propane grill but only a charcoal one was provided. Other than that a very enjoyable vacation!

We went for a quick weekend trip for my husband’s birthday and it was great! We would’ve stayed a whole week there if we could have! Cozy, peaceful, clean, cold a/c, and a quick walk away from the beach even with little ones! It was just right! Easy check in! Let us checkout late for no fee (which was HUGE to us as we wanted every minute we could have here)! Would definitely recommend this home and would love to visit again! The community pool was not clean although it was “cleaned that morning”. However that is not the home owners fault and we preferred the beach anyways! Just wanted to clarify for any who HAVE to have a nice pool for your stay!

I travel a lot with my kids and our 2 80 pound dogs I’ve never been more impressed with a home like this one it’s very simple but very homey pictures do not do it justice the area is amazing right by a college which makes u feel extremely safe water is everywhere I look it’s so beautiful words do not describe !!!I will definitely put this on our list of places to revisit !!!Thank u Mr.Chuck for allowing our little family to enjoy your amazing home

Our stay was amazing. The location was directly across the road from the beach.. We watched amazing sunsets. It was a dream come true. Will was great to work with. He quickly answered all of our questions! He is a new friend in our book!

Beautiful home close to the beach. It was great to have a big tv, 2 fridges, keurig. Comfortable beds. Very clean space. Awesome views from both decks. Make sure to bring enough incidentals for your entire stay. If you forget something there is a store one block away. The only thing I regret is not getting up early enough to get the donuts at the donut shop at the end of the street. They sell out every morning. Great stay with some great amenities close by which is rare for this remote area. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. My entire family loved it. Thanks!!

We rented due to evacuating from Milton. The hosts couldn’t have been more kind. They truly make me believe that there are still generous and kind people in this world. They refunded our stay minus the Airbnb required fees. They absolutely did this out of the goodness of their heart. In return, I hope their home is booked all year round so that they can get back 100 times their generosity! I am forever grateful!

We PCSed to Panama City and stayed at this air B& B. We felt right at home and extremely comfortable. The hosts are very responsive with anything we asked or needed. They had a lot of items for their guests to use like bikes and beach chair unfortunately we didn’t use them because we were busy and the weather was not beach weather. Great place and great hosts. We left a little Puerto Rico trinket on the guest table with the guess book and Map. 😁

Beautiful house with a unique and private location. Well equipped kitchen and lots of places to hang out and enjoy the expansive views.

The stay was amazing and easy. It was a very nice home and the accommodations were even better. I would most definitely book again.

I am not one to normally do reviews but I have to on this home. This was the most precious home and perfect place to stay for my family. Lourdes left the cutest welcome gift and also has a book of all her recommendations for eating/things to do/etc. The house is exactly as pictured but even better in person. The home is SO clean and she has everything there that you could think of to make you feel right at home. 1000/10 experience. It was my first time visiting Port St Joe but after this trip, we definitely be back next year! :)

The home was absolutely amazing and, while we didn't get to use them, the beach items were a fantastic perk to know about. It is in a brand new neighborhood that GPS had some issues with but it was not hard to find at all. Ashleigh was very responsive and allowed us to check in early.

Everything we wanted! This was a perfect house for our family vacation. Because of bad weather when we left our home town, we had to check in a day late. I let Erica and Philip know and they graciously added on a day to the end of our trip at no extra charge! We absolutely love Cape San Blas and the surrounding areas. This was our first time in this neighborhood and we would stay here again. There was something for everyone with the pool, sand volleyball, and pickleball courts (our fave). The house had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The swings on the porch were delightful. They provided a wagon, beach chairs as well as some beach toys so you just load up your wagon and head down the boardwalk to enjoy your beach day. The beach was not crowded at all even for Spring Break. Our dog enjoyed it too as the beaches here are doggy friendly. Erica and Philip were very responsive and friendly and we would definitely stay here again!

The house was great. Also loved the tropical five minute walk to the beach. The house was very clean, quiet, very private, no bright lights anywhere and so comfortable. Hosts were so helpful and friendly. The house was also very well supplied. Thank you for a great stay.

We had a low stress spring break with young kids here. The beach is basically private and didn’t have to worry about the kids going down there by themselves. The community pool is nice and spend a good amount of time there. In the evenings we enjoyed the outdoor areas because they were amazing about 2 hrs before sunset. Kids loved the fake grass areas and played out there. Had fires at night in the fire pit. Plenty of room for a big group without feeling cramped!
