Beachfront vacation rentals in Apalachicola Bay

The good everything. The needs addressed, lighting on the stairs in front and back. The bad, nothing. I would defiantly recommend for families, good layout for two families to share. Even has a separate living room for the kids to hang out. Very nice location.

We stayed here last year with our dogs and loved it, so we booked it again. It’s a great house in a great location. We were a little disappointed because it seemed like some things were not as well kept up as last time. The lift was not working and it seemed a few kitchen essentials were missing. But, overall was a wonderful trip once again!

I loved staying here! It feels like you’re on a boat. Throughout the day I would move to different balconies to chill. The beach felt very private. Enjoyed the restaurants and general stores close by. Everything was so peaceful.

This place was a DREAM! You know when you're at the beach and you see some condos and you think, "I wish I was staying there..." THIS IS THAT PLACE! My kids AND my husband were pumped that it had a Monopoly theme so of course, we played. :) This place is super charming...also, everything you need is there...we didn't buy charcoal or even a lighter. Kitchen stocked great, excellent spot for the kids to hang out...and this condo is right in the middle of everything...walk everywhere! Yay! My boy played basketball every day (30 steps from the condo) grocery 3-4 minute walk, the lighthouse, the shopping, the food, I parked when we got there and never got in my car again! Note, if you have an electric car there is a spot to charge less than1/4 mile walk at the buccaneer inn. My husband drove separate, EV no problem! We had a great time! It was clean and perfect and right on the beach, the BEST!

You can’t beat the location. Located right at the entrance to the state park steps off the beach. There’s still hurricane damage all around but that’s understandable considering how severe it was. The condo is older and well worn but that’s just what we like. We felt comfortable in the space. The only complaint would be the soaking tub in the master is beyond “worn”. I really wanted to soak in the tub with the amazing view of the beach/gulf but didn’t feel comfortable even trying to turn it on. We want to go back and take the grand babies!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at A Wave From It All. My husband and myself, 2 friends, and our toddler had a wonderful time. The home had mostly everything we needed for our 5 night stay. Once we arrived my husband drove to the piggy Wiley just 25 mins away in Port St. Joe (super cute town) for groceries, while I stayed behind to unpack. Other than groceries, the only thing he had to get was extra toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, and some extra kitchen towels. The home had 2, but with all the cooking we did, and clean up, we needed extras. The main floor was very spacious! The sliding glass door to the balcony with the ocean view was amazing. However, a past storm demolished the steps leading from this floor to the beach. The gate is caution taped off and locked so I had no safety concerns with this. It was still very easy to get to the beach via level 1. Just walk out back of the carport and you are there. I could go on and on, but am running out of space! 5 STARS

Fantastic little beach front condo. We spent two weeks here relaxing and enjoying sunrise and sunset walks up the beach with our dog. Small and simple, but it was so lovely to be able to step directly out onto the beach! The local grocery store, BJs pizza and subs, and the Blue Parrot are a short drive or 20 minute walk away - so accessible by foot but far enough away to keep the location super peaceful. A wonderful escape from city life!

Dee's place was beautiful. We loved how close it was to the beach and it's proximity to Port St. Joe and Apalachicola. Dee and family were extremely welcoming and readily available to make recommendations. Their place was so quiet and relaxing and the covered parking and covered porch were added bonuses. would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to have a wonderful relaxing vacation. but also to those who want to explore. There is plenty to do and see.

We had the absolute best 4 days at this home. We have five children and the house was incredibly accommodating for them all. It was beautiful and clean and I cannot tell you how much our family needed this time together. Maria was wonderful and looked after us so well. We will absolutely be recommending this home to our friends and family and plan another trip back as soon as possible. ❤️

Fabulous location. Steps to beach. Close to great local restaurants and shops. Very dog friendly and our furbaby also had a wonderful time. Will definitely be back.

Perfect home for a large family Thanksgiving gathering! The ocean views were stunning, house was clean, spacious, and well equipped. The private pool, hot tub and easy access to the beach made it a memorable getaway! Kay was a gracious and responsive host.

Stayed here last year. Very pleased with the quality of the furnishings etc. If I had any advice I would say they could provide a few household items like plastic wrap and storage containers but these are really just quibbles. Other than that I appreciate the effort to provide a quality experience.

Beautiful condo! Spacious and well maintained. The only thing to note is the amount of stairs there are. I wouldn’t recommend staying if you have mobility issues or a dog that doesn’t do well with stairs. Great location, amenities and the hosts are great!

We had a great stay! Nice pool and hot tub area. Keep in mind this is a camper so your shower should be quick or you might run out of hot water. However, it was no issue for us. We rented the golf cart and that proved to be very useful! Highly recommend The Blue Parrot for a wonderful meal on the beach☀️

What a wonderful place to create lifelong memories with family and friends! The home was very spacious and was furnished with almost everything you need for your stay! Our family throughly enjoyed our time!

As always, Sea Glass was a welcome respite from the everyday hustle and bustle! We truly relaxed as soon as we walked in and saw that view!! Immaculate and comfortable!

This place is perfect. The location is amazing, everything you could possibly need is within a 12 minute drive and we really enjoyed popping into the lounge across the road for a few drinks. The beach was beautiful and the lower deck area was my favorite spot to read and relax. Oh and the TV's were huge. We watched movies every night and enjoyed having the sliding doors open to listen to the waves while we relaxed. We would love to come back next year.

This was a great house with beautiful views. The entire 2nd floor is a master suite with bedroom, bathroom and living room. The living room has accordion doors that open the wall completely. Full view of the Gulf of Mexico and gorgeous sunsets. The house was immaculate and super clean. Not only was the kitchen well stocked but trash bags, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, toilet paper and paper towels were provided for my entire stay. Mexico Beach doesn’t have much to do, a couple of good food trucks though, but it’s only 15-20 minutes to Port St Joe with great restaurants and shopping. The only negative I’ll include about the location is that because it sits right on US98, there is a lot of road noise until late at night. I couldn’t hear the waves/surf over the cars and trucks most of the time and had trouble sleeping at times. It was easy enough to walk across to the direct beach access (wonderful) but I did have to wait for traffic to clear a bit at peak times of day.

Loved the private feel of the beach and the beautiful views from all the bedrooms and living room area as well as the decks! I would recommend this home! Also loved that the home and beach is pet friendly! Thank you for making our stay great!

We had a wonderful time at Julio‘s condo. It was quite spacious and perfect for a couple. It was very clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. I was just a short distance from the beach and on the quiet end of the island.

We really enjoyed moon shadow ! Close enough to town, yet still on the cape ! About 10 minutes from anything you want, and a very short walk to the beach ! We enjoyed fishing and the beach wasn’t crowded ! Although it rained on our trip, we still had a great time !

It was a memorable Thanksgiving. We were able to travel to Tallahassee with ease for UF vs. FSU to cheer for a house divided. Beautiful setting and the dog loved not having to be on a leash. The dock provided a magnificent sunrise location.

Walkable to beach. We stayed as a family of 5 (parents with 3 young adult children) and 2 dogs. Thoroughly enjoyed the breathtaking sunsets from the windows and the back yard. Host supplied beach wagon/beach chairs were very helpful. The kitchen was thoughtfully furnished with everything . Our large 10 seater van easily fitted into the driveway. The nearby Bruno pizzeria had tasty wholesome pizza. All of us just devoured it :-)! In all, a comfortable safe and restful accommodation for a family with all the right tourist spots within easy reach.
