We had a great stay here for one night. A great little tree house in the jungle. Amazing hosts, 2 lovely dogs and some great food cooked for us. There's a great place nearby too watch the sunset while overlooking Sigiriya and other mountains in the distance. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful, wonderful stay in the treetop House. It was just as amazing as we had dreamed of. Our 2 boys at 5 and 7 loved the place and they wanted to stay for 27 days 😌 Channa took us Fishing at his boat and our boys loved it. The food was so delicius and homemade - and there was a lot. Channa help us keeping our mill cool, which our boys love to their breakfast. We highly recommend stay 2 or more nights and the amazing treehouse. We hope to come Back some day 😍

We will forever remember our special stay at Maulie's place! We arrived late at night from our train ride from Colombo and Maulie picked us up from the train station and welcomed us with the most amazing dinner prepared under trees. We felt right at home! The food there is some of the best we had in Sri Lanka - especially the jack fruit curry! The birders cabin was the best as we felt like we were one with nature - the birds and insect sounds, the fire flies at night while you sleep under the mosquito nets. We also took the canoe onto the lake and it was the most magical serene experience! Maulie and her brother always made us feel so welcome and we would highly recommend this place for all nature lovers!

I cannot highly recommend this beautiful resort with a homestead like feel. Hosts are the friendliest sweetest people. Their parents are extremely lovely people too. I already miss them! The hosts helped us to arrange an experienced driver for Safari and we saw lots! As for the food it was just another level! Do opt for dinners as it is your chance to experience local and absolutely delicious meals. We had a lovely walkandtalk on our last day and were advised to take a train (just a minute walk from the resort) to tricomalee . We really enjoyed that trip! Thank you for everything guys!

Love the peaceful and beautiful location. Pity that we stayed only 1 night. The safari arranged by Kamal was very fruitful. We got to see the leopard once closer up and twice at a distance. Highly recommended!

It was one of the fabulous stays we have had! before arriving here, we had a not-so good experience with another host, & felt very left out in the country. Hareen being the most responsible and communicative host, we believed that this stay could be promising, changing all our bad feelings in the country. trusting our instincts on the host & this beautiful property led to an experience that was exceeding our expectation. the stay was truly satisfying in each small ways. we broke all the rules we had on food, just kept eating through the day. because Suneeta is such a great cook that u cannot stop eating. her delicious food is also how her heart is. Her husband Mahinda who took care of us showing the village is truly one of the most caring person you could see. He knows when & where the elephants are & can guide you to safe sightseeing locations without compromising your safety. That's so much of native knowledge that the world is losing on. I wish I keep returning to this place!

We were gutted that we had only booked one night here! Definitely one of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka - an absolute hidden gem! We were completely wowed as soon as we arrived, such gorgeous surroundings and each pod was so clean and comfortable with amazing spacious bathrooms! The staff were helpful and attentive and we were able to easily organise transport to the safari and Lion Rock. The breakfasts were tasty and you get a lot for your money!

We had a fantastic 6 night stay at Sharmini’s villa. My husband and I were travelling with our 9 month old, 3 year old and in-laws, and Sharmini’s staff could not have made us feel any more welcome. They really wanted to ensure we had a lovely stay, cooking wonderful meals(chef is included and you just pay for ingredients), helping us organise a safari trip and day trip to Anuradhapura. The villa itself is located in beautiful surroundings, it was wonderful having such wildlife on the doorstep! We went on a boat trip one evening and saw a wild elephant. Bedrooms all have A/C and splash pools on balconies. Highly recommend a stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here! So peaceful and beautiful. We booked last minute and they accommodated us. The hosts showed us to our room and offered us a lift into the town. Breakfast was great and reasonable. Would definitely recommend!
