Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Anse Royale

Pamela's husband Vincent picked us up from the airport and took us to the ferry port the next morning. We only used the place for one night as a stopover on our way to La Digue. Nevertheless, we used the day to visit the capital Victoria. The way back from Victoria was very exhausting, however, as it is very steeply uphill. For a longer stay, a rental car would probably be indispensable. Pamela provided us with a rich breakfast (eggs, cheese, sausage, butter, bread and much more). Kitchen is well equipped. We had a wonderful time at the house. It is spacious and very well-equipped. Everything was clean upon arrival. Communication with Lessy was very easy and she was able to answer our questions. Our arrival, welcomed by her sister Sultane, went perfectly. She was very charming and had the thoughtful attention to bring us fruit from her garden. A treat. We particularly appreciated the garden and the sublime view of Anse à la Mouche. In addition to all these positive points about the house, Sultane was of immense help to us because we needed a doctor urgently. She didn't hesitate to pick us up in the evening and take us to the clinic for a medical consultation and even brought us back the next morning with the medication. We thank her very much for that. We had a wonderful stay at Mary's Villa near Beau Vallon. Christophe and his family are super sweet, very responsive and incredibly helpful. The villa is beautiful and especially the views from the porch are stunning, we witnessed the most amazing sunsets. Since we had a rental car, we had no issues going to Beau Vallon or some of the more quieter beaches in the north, for example, and we greatly appreciated the peace and quiet of the villa. We can only recommend and would come back any time!

I have returned to this accommodation for the second time, and I would still recommend it 100%. First of all, you are living almost right by the ocean. The crystal-clear turquoise water is simply fantastic every day. The apartments are spacious and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen. Nearby, you’ll find a fish market and various shops, allowing you to prepare your own meals. Public transport runs every half hour to the city center and back, making it easy to get around. This place is my paradise on Earth, with a small, quiet beach nearby, perfect for a peaceful retreat. Of course, if you are looking for a resort with all-inclusive services, this might not be the place for you. However, if you prefer a more relaxing stay, home-cooked meals, and a cozy atmosphere, this is an ideal choice. Great location, right on the beach with a beautiful yard, garden and pool. The house has everything you need with AC in each room. Three rooms are ocean view with a shared large balcony. The fourth bunk room faces the garden in the front. Communication was excellent and even recommended a local rental car contact. Very easy to work with and highly recommend for a group or family coming to the island.

Our second time to Eden Island and Jo’s place was perfect for us. It’s right across the way from our favorite secret pool. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at the accommodation, with a beautiful view of beautiful valley. Doris is very inviting and caring. The accommodation is very clean. Cleaning is every day with the change of sheets and towels every three days. The accommodation is well equipped for cooking, and breakfast is provided on the first day. I recommend you to rent a car because the access is steep. We would recommend this listing 1000%. thank you.

Seaside Self Catering is a beautiful and serene apartment. It's right in front of the crystal clear beach with access to shops and eateries. It easy to take an evening stroll staying here. The Lodge itself is tastefully furnished and spacious with everything you need for self catering. truly enjoyed my stay here. I would return here if I'm in Seychelles again.

We are totally overjoyed with Nadia’s place We have really enjoyed the neighbourhood. Nadia responses swiftly and gives tips how to organise your trip to the Seychelles 🇸🇨. She organised transfer for us every time we needed it! There is nothing to complain about! Don’t hesitate, just book this place en enjoy the Seychelles as we did! We had a pleasant stay at Thérèse's. The apartment matched the descriptions and photos. All the comforts to feel at home. Sparkling clean We can only recommend it 1000%. Perfect place in a quiet area and close to shops, restaurants and beaches. The car rental via Thérèse was also perfect. Again a big thank you to Thérèse for hosting us and for being available.

I was solo, but the place would be fantastic for a couple as well. Lovely landscaping, close to a tranquil beach as well as a bus stop-and Marie was kind enough to not only arrange transportation to and from the airport but also loan a bus card. Just super hospitable - and a lovely apartment.

We had a very nice stay in this apartment. Everything is clean, everything is available if you want to cook for yourself. The apartment is thoroughly cleaned every other day and you get new towels. We saw dolphins twice from the window. We felt very comfortable!

Andrea is now a native German immigrant. She has come to Mahé for love and has now lived on Mahé for over 35 years. This results in a European standard in your accommodation, very clean, very tidy, combined with the Seyschelles aesthetics. The house with its completely self-contained apartments is very nicely located, nestled in wonderful nature with tropical bird sounds. The view is characterized by two huge mango trees some palm trees, other also very nice houses, a beautiful church and the sea. A turtle also happened to pass by. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Andrea is very mindful of environmental protection. We visited 4 homes in the Seychelles. Andrea's place was the only one with garbage separation and compost. But an extra thumbs up and continue a lot of pleasure and a beautiful life for Andrea and her son! In general, you should use a rental car on Mahé.

Eden Island is a beautiful, we'll run community. lots of amenities all around. the apartment was great. beautiful view of the harbor and mountain. it's easy to find, everyone knows where Eden Island is. the apartment is great for a small family. we had a great time there. highly recommended! thanks Ruth!!!

It was nice and close to the center. Large space. Very good wifi. The grill is clean and perfect to prepare something in the evening.

Alison's apartment is really incredibly beautiful. It is very modern, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms are very modern. I want to highlight the comfortable beds and the beautiful view from the bedrooms as well as of course from the terrace. Alison is the most amazing host you could want. She always gave us great tips for restaurants and beaches and when we had to go somewhere at short notice, she was always helpful and drove us! You can also book a rental car directly on site for the desired days. The cars are new and clean. The service is very straightforward. Breakfast can be booked on request. It was an excellent stay. The local team that the Host uses, did a super job in communicating with us beforehand on how everything will work. They arrange taxi's for us from the airport and gave us contact details for taxi's as well as boat operators for excursions. When the BBQ's gas became low, it was a simple message sent and we had a standby bottle delivered asap. The Unit is excellent and well situated for beautiful views. We saw lobsters, fish and even two sea turtles less than 10 m from our patio. Well worth it for a couple of a family.

Eden island is truly a paradise in paradise. This home is very well maintained and every part of my stay felt luxurious. The apartment is steps from the largest beach, a quick ride to the clubhouse, and can easily access any of the pools on site. It is so peaceful, I fell asleep outdoors many times. The staff makes you feel as if you are at a $5000 a night resort. From check-in to check-out this was a marvelous experience. If I ever brave the long flight from the U.S. to Seychelles again, I will surely contact Brigitte and some of the amazing locals I met again.
