Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Ameland

Together with a friend of mine and her two daughters we stayed at this wonderful place. Since it was a gift for her daughters, there was a children's champagne with some treats ready! Great that that was taken care of! Everything was neatly arranged and it was a pleasant stay. Definitely recommended for a quiet stay

Nice and modern cottage, with all the comforts. Henk is also a very friendly and flexible host: we were very grateful to him for the possibility to sleep in on the Monday after the Berenloop! I highly recommend this cottage!!

A very nice cottage, even in winter! Everything was clean and tidy. Nice to light a fire outside in the evening or to enjoy cycling on the island.

We had a wonderful week at Wietske and Jan's in the Serre. The stay is on their home, but the feeling of privacy is great. The garden is fantastic; our dog also enjoyed it. The space itself is complete and neat; the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen are simple, but clean and yet complete. Most of the space is (very rightly) springy for the living/dining room, which as a conservatory also really gives the feeling of "inside but still outside". With one afternoon of bad weather, we also spent a wonderful time indoors. There is a smart TV that can be connected to various streaming services for those who love it. It's a shame; you can enjoy the beautiful garden much better. In terms of location, we were able to enjoy the various gems of Friesland (mudflats and city, Old Fens, etc.). For some small questions, the contact with the hosts was pleasant and accessible. All in all recommended!

We had a very comfortable short stay at Roger's place. Close to the boat towards Schiermonnikoog. Staying here is highly recommended!

From free bikes to a comfortable bed, this colorful apartment is our favorite rental on Terschelling. Located in the quiet town of Midsland, you can bike to the beach in about 15 minutes then have a good meal at Pura Vida or a coffee at the lovely bakery. We appreciate the spacious bathroom and the early check in. Hope to return…again.

Peaceful location and very responsive and welcoming host. The apartment was very clean when we arrived and fresh fruit and tea/coffee available. Beds were good. We stayed there for an event in Leeuwarden which was an easy 15’ ride by car. In the afternoon we went for a pleasant small stroll through the little village /past the small church with some shops nearby. We had a good stay.

Had a very nice stay, especially the fireplace, jacuzzi and sauna were very nice on a cold winter evening. Communication could barely be better. Very friendly and thoughtful host. Wadden Sea nearby, nice to stroll along the dike. It is not a place to go for all kinds of entertainment, but for tranquility! Especially with the extra costs for the wellness, not necessarily a cheap stay, but accepté (we stayed on the weekend).

We had a lovely two-day weekend getaway with our children, aged 8 and 9. They absolutely loved it! The house was incredibly charming and peaceful. Despite the 0°C temperature outside, it was perfectly warm and cozy inside. We’re already thinking of coming back during the summer months to enjoy it again. The only downside was that the bed linens needed to be rented separately. We brought our own, but putting them on and taking them off was a bit of a hassle. :)
