Kathleen's mid-century modern house was very clean and worked great for our Thanksgiving gathering. My wife and I, along with my son and his wife, plus my 85 year old father stayed in the house. The house felt spacious and accommodated us well. Great having a full size washer and dryer along with full size kitchen appliances. For Thanksgiving day, my daughters joined and again, the space worked great for a meal with 8 people and a service dog. Check in was a breeze. Kitchen worked great for preparing meals. We were a little concerned about multiple levels with my 85 year old dad, but it was just 3 steps down from the main living space to the bedrooms and bathroom, so no issues for us. Ice maker in frig worked great. Covered car parking was very nice. Nice big open entry way, den and dining room gave plenty of room. Towels and linens were all good. Kathleen takes great care of her place. Also, no crazy cleaning expectation at check out. Great Stay.

Great stay, very well run Airbnb. Lots of cute charm and thoughtful touches. Super soft bedsheets. Great vintage tub. Just enough space. Keypad code lock for entry and exit very convenient. Older house but no issues with air conditioning, hot water, appliances, etc.

Very comfortable and quiet, lots of space, minutes from center of mt Vernon and Cornell college. Pristine but also cozy! Lots of thoughtful touches which were really appreciated, we really felt welcomed and cared for.

This place was perfect for my daughter’s birthday sleepover! Gave a homey feel and space for girls to have a blast! Would definitely recommend this place. My daughter also said best birthday yet so that’s a win!

This was the perfect, pet-friendly place to stay during a visit to Marion. I appreciated having a garage to use in the cold weather.

Great getaway! Tucked away just outside Iowa City, this cabin offers modern touches, privacy, and comfort. Our host Taylor was incredibly responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Walnut Creek Lodge is spectacular and Brett is a wonderful host. This is our group's second year at the Lodge and we will be back next fall! My group loves Walnut Creek, this property is a true American gem in the middle of Iowa!

Mark's place was GREAT! We had family from all over the country stay in both of Mark's units for our son's graduation. The rooms were great with comfy beds and really nice linens. There were several places to hang out so we could play family games and visit each other. Plus, we were able to walk downtown easily. A bonus was the ample parking in back. Mark was a great host with helpful information and quick replies to our questions.

This is a beautiful property! We enjoyed the solitude and great view of the pond/trees. My kids very much enjoyed fishing the pond. They even caught some large mouth bass. One weighing 2 pounds, and one weighing 3 pounds! Beds were super comfy. My kids even made me come check their comfiness before I could finish unloading the car. Would highly recommend this place if you are looking to get away from the bustle of the city and also have activities for the kids to do right out the back door. A very clean beach area was available also, although being late October, we didn’t swim.
