Had an awesome stay at Rachel’s place! The place was super clean, cozy, and well taken care of—felt really comfortable from the moment we walked in. Everything we needed was there, and the location in Skidegate was perfect for exploring Haida Gwaii.

This was our second stay on the property and it is sincerely a hidden gem. The location is great as well as a beautiful BNB. Leandre and Leon were incredible people and very helpful for anything we needed during our stay. Everything was as written in the description and more. I recommend this location for anyone looking to come to Haida Gwaii and wanting to make their stay unforgettable.

Lovely space right in the heart of DG. The host was very communicative and checkin was super smooth, would stay here again. We felt it was good value for our family compared to other places in the area.

Abalone Shell House is comfortable, clean, and serene. I enjoyed watching the clouds drift between the islands while sipping morning coffee.

Very helpful hosts with lots of local recommendations and super clean well appointed place in a quiet neighbourhood!

Overall the place was great, I’m sure that once the construction on the downstairs is fully completed it will be even better. Just a heads up the living room is quite small and only fits three people comfortably, and the only TV is in the bedroom so if you’re sports or movie fans be prepared to watch games or movies etc on a laptop in the living room. The bathroom and kitchen are spacious and fully appointed with new appliances and the beds in the loft and bedroom are very comfy.

The location was easy to find and had all the amenities required for our stay. It was an easy and seamless check. Thank you Andy
