We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house! The house was comfortable, stylish and very well equipped. It is excellently situated in Keswick, within walking distance to the shops, lake, pubs and other places. The beds were very comfortable with lovely bedlinen and soft towels. We would look forward to a return visit. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful stay at the house. Great location right in town, close to the pubs, restaurants and independent shops of Ulverston. House is charming and quirky, laid out across four storeys, with plenty of room for guests. The cellar sauna is a lovely touch and was very welcome after a day of walking! One thing to note is that the toilet is on the second floor, up two flights of stairs, so if you have limited mobility it might be difficult. Otherwise, no hesitations to recommend to anyone looking for a fun and comfortable place to stay in town.

Super helpful hosts, great location - the apartment is like a tardis! Immaculately clean and has everything you need. We only needed the apartment for one night but would happily return and stay longer.

Grace's place is situated at the heart of Ulverston. All the pubs and restaurants are at walking distance. The place itself is big enough for 10 folks. Kids loved the big loft and were happy to be on their own. Kind regards Harshal

Graces place was perfect for me and my mates that where climbing Scafell Pike! We didn’t stay long but the parking is great with on site parking and a car park just down the road for more cars, Also a very good location for food and a beer, and not to far away from the climb. The time we did spend in the house we found it very clean, plenty of good beds which are comfortable and good showers. Good heating, turn down before going to bed! This was perfect for us, Thank you Grace.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our short day at Jacqui’s cosy little home. A great location to get to the numerous fabulous walks around the area. Cockermouth itself is perfect for bars, cafes and restaurants We will be back . Thank you jacqui for a perfect stay. Forgot to say thank you for the bread and milk - a much appreciated gesture - and the bread was amazing.

Really lovely property, handy parking and a short stroll into the town centre

Lovely place to stay, it was clean, everything you needed inside, kids loved what they called the secret play area (the carpeted section on the second floor!) 20min walk into town where they had plenty of shops and places to eat, not far to Windermere etc. Loved the extra little touches left for us too, would definitely recommend.

A great place to stay, with spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, nice new kitchen with everything you would need, and in Keswick's best area. Laundry facilities and second fridge were very useful, and the little courtyard area is a rare bonus in this part of Keswick. A lovely place to stay for a walking holiday with friends

The most beautiful home! Everything in the cottage was provided and very tastefully curated. Location was great, very walkable to the town and the lake. Perfect place for a getaway home.

Had a great stay at Henry’s place. Just like being home from home. The travel cot and highchair made life so much easier! Clean, tidy and comfortable. I treated my auntie to a trip away for her 50th and Natasha kindly decorated the place for me. Such a personal touch. Definitely will be back in the future. Parking was fine we had more than 1 car. Didn’t struggle to get parked out the front. Thank you again! X

Ideal size for a large family. Nice and warm. Short walk to the Bassenthwaite Lake. Would definitely stop there again.

Sarah is an attentive, welcoming host. The property is well located within walkable distance of everything Bowness has to offer. Everything was clean and well presented and we had everything we needed for our short stay with 3 generations of our family. I would definitely recommend to others and if we return to the area I would happily stay again.

4 nights with my older teens, visiting a daughter who moved to Ulverston. Well located, walking distance to shops and restaurants. A clean and bright modern place. Diana was very helpful - brought a bottle opener when couldn’t find one and provided an extra light duvet for one guest when asked. Quite bare styling, I’d prefer a few pictures and books etc to make it feel more ‘homely’ but perhaps just a matter of taste!

Our second stay at New House and what a wonderful time we had!! Such a homely environment and was everything we needed for a relaxing break away. I can’t recommend this place enough - a fantastic spot, beautiful house and homely environment. Thank you again!

Great property in a central location in Carlisle. Everything was great about the house - clean, all the required features and amenities and couldnt have asked for better comms from Nanu. Highly recommend if you are wanting a stay in Carlisle centre.

This is the second year running that we have attended Gavins house, great place for our party of twelve. Again Gavin was excellent on arrival. House had everything you needed…wood burners are fantastic. Large dinning table that fitted our party. Great place to stay would highly recommend it.

Cracking little house, right in the centre of town. Very clean, comfortable beds, has everything you need. Strongly recommended.

Very helpful host right from the start of booking. House was decorated beautifully for New Year. We were 6 adults and found there was plenty of room to chill out in the living room and space around the dining table. Unfortunately the weather was very wet, but we still managed to get out and have a walk or two. The pubs, whilst we didn’t eat in any, were friendly and inviting locals had us chatting both evenings, we even joined in with the locals on NYE at the Turks head for a few hours before retiring back to the warm house and enjoying the log burner and buffet/drinks. The kitchen was very well equipped. Overall the house is a great entertaining space for a family/ friends get together.

Really glad we chose this accommodation. We had mixed weather on our trip so having somewhere homely, spacious and entertainment was a blessing. House has been kept beautifully and prepared so that it was very clean and tidy. Great location for a walk into town or surrounding walking routes. All-round great stay! Thank you.
