Great location to stay in Ambleside and host very helpful.

Grace's place is situated at the heart of Ulverston. All the pubs and restaurants are at walking distance. The place itself is big enough for 10 folks. Kids loved the big loft and were happy to be on their own. Kind regards Harshal

Graces place was perfect for me and my mates that where climbing Scafell Pike! We didn’t stay long but the parking is great with on site parking and a car park just down the road for more cars, Also a very good location for food and a beer, and not to far away from the climb. The time we did spend in the house we found it very clean, plenty of good beds which are comfortable and good showers. Good heating, turn down before going to bed! This was perfect for us, Thank you Grace.

Super good house for a group, the games room is great, well equipped kitchen, nice BBQ. Hot tub was a great addition. Plenty of space for everyone. Would stay again.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our short day at Jacqui’s cosy little home. A great location to get to the numerous fabulous walks around the area. Cockermouth itself is perfect for bars, cafes and restaurants We will be back . Thank you jacqui for a perfect stay. Forgot to say thank you for the bread and milk - a much appreciated gesture - and the bread was amazing.

Lovely place to stay, it was clean, everything you needed inside, kids loved what they called the secret play area (the carpeted section on the second floor!) 20min walk into town where they had plenty of shops and places to eat, not far to Windermere etc. Loved the extra little touches left for us too, would definitely recommend.

A great place to stay, with spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, nice new kitchen with everything you would need, and in Keswick's best area. Laundry facilities and second fridge were very useful, and the little courtyard area is a rare bonus in this part of Keswick. A lovely place to stay for a walking holiday with friends

The most beautiful home! Everything in the cottage was provided and very tastefully curated. Location was great, very walkable to the town and the lake. Perfect place for a getaway home.

The best few days had here! The house is so clean and cosy, with everything you would possibly need for a great stay! It's within walking distance into town and only a short drive away to other larger towns and nice walks. Henry is a great host! Would 100% recommend!

Ideal size for a large family. Nice and warm. Short walk to the Bassenthwaite Lake. Would definitely stop there again.

What a beautiful cottage. Very clean and extremely well equipped. It literally had everything you could need. Such a lovely warm cottage and very comfortable - best nights sleep in a long time ! It’s in a lovely Road with plenty on street parking and was so quiet even though it was so close to the hustle and bustle of Bowness. Only observation - and it’s no way a complaint - whilst the oven and grill was great, the hob wasn’t. It didn’t seem to get hot enough to cook anything even on the highest setting so we struggled to cook eggs at breakfast and other things we had in the pans. That said, it certainly wouldn’t stop us coming back and we will. Sarah you were a great host. Thank you

I've been to Mr Crawford's house other times, as always it's a great option to stay, very close to the center, cozy and clean!!! I recommend…

4 nights with my older teens, visiting a daughter who moved to Ulverston. Well located, walking distance to shops and restaurants. A clean and bright modern place. Diana was very helpful - brought a bottle opener when couldn’t find one and provided an extra light duvet for one guest when asked. Quite bare styling, I’d prefer a few pictures and books etc to make it feel more ‘homely’ but perhaps just a matter of taste!

Had a lovely stay with Tony, who was very kind and also flexible and helpful with my check-in. Slept really well in this cosy room, would come back any time

Such a good location for pubs (recommend The Sun) and some nice coffee stops (WildFlower). So many options for walks that can be circular to take in Devils Bridge. Excellent comms with Barry your host - the property wants for nothing

Great property in a central location in Carlisle. Everything was great about the house - clean, all the required features and amenities and couldnt have asked for better comms from Nanu. Highly recommend if you are wanting a stay in Carlisle centre.

This is the second year running that we have attended Gavins house, great place for our party of twelve. Again Gavin was excellent on arrival. House had everything you needed…wood burners are fantastic. Large dinning table that fitted our party. Great place to stay would highly recommend it.

Very helpful host right from the start of booking. House was decorated beautifully for New Year. We were 6 adults and found there was plenty of room to chill out in the living room and space around the dining table. Unfortunately the weather was very wet, but we still managed to get out and have a walk or two. The pubs, whilst we didn’t eat in any, were friendly and inviting locals had us chatting both evenings, we even joined in with the locals on NYE at the Turks head for a few hours before retiring back to the warm house and enjoying the log burner and buffet/drinks. The kitchen was very well equipped. Overall the house is a great entertaining space for a family/ friends get together.

Property was easy to find and spacious for myself and two dogs. Pool table was an added bonus. Just was happy to help with flexible check in. Super responsive and clear instructions, would stay again.

The place was stunning and a great location. Rob was brilliant and was in contact if we needed him. Will 100% be coming back at some point. Thanks for having us
