LOVED this gem of a retreat. I mean how can you not love a sauna, kayak, hot tub, fire pit, and a spacious cabin that overlooks port moody. I wish I could stay for a month! And so cool, you take a boat to get to the cabin. I’ve been telling everyone at my work about this place!

She is so sweet and made us pancakes! I loved how she put effort to explain everything and we were so comfortable at her house! The bathroom was so fancy and clean :) she even put extra toiletries in case you forgot, the room smelled like roses and had very beautiful mountain views. The hot tub! Super nice and awesome! Had a great night and they were so nice and friendly! I would miss their dogs (ginger and cooper and also the three leg one I forgot his name hahaha) highly recommend it!

The Band House, where music is made.

MirandaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had an amazing time at the band cabin. We arrived new years eve and Jennifer and Garth were very kind in leaving us a bottle of champagne! We really enjoyed the wood burning stove, the wood fire hot tub and Cooper the dog. The cabin was super comfortable for 6 adults with lots or lounge space and an awesome dining table. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We loved being surrounded by the forest with so much natural light. The property around the cabin was quiet and peaceful too. We will definitely come again!

Lovely cabin in a secluded neighborhood, close to hiking trails, the fish hatchery (cool place to visit) and town. Had everything we needed for cooking, which was a bonus.

We had such a great time at Carraholly Retreat! The boat ride over was super easy, and the place itself was so cute and cozy. We loved the clean hot tub and spent a lot of time relaxing in the sauna - it was such a treat. Perfect spot for a quick getaway from the city. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape!

This was our first time staying longer than one day in Canada. It was beautiful and peaceful, The Staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't have time to grab groceries our first night and they gave us some Pasta and Spaghetti. The hot tub was also very warm and relaxing. We will be back in the Summer to Kayak and swim for sure!

Boater’s Paradise - Private Serene Waterfront

ChrissyRating, 5 stars29 months ago
Beautiful spot in paradise. The cabin was fully stocked with beautiful linen, bathroom amenities and a fully stocked kitchen (2 fridges). The communication from the owners was amazing. The only problem was the road up, they do have a gator but you need experience to use it but otherwise highly recommended.

Cedar & Sea Cottage

There’s something magical about the Sunshine Coast—it was a deeply spiritual experience. I highly recommend this host if you’re looking for a quiet escape from the hustle of Vancouver. My friends and I had an amazing time, and we especially loved the hot tub—it was definitely the highlight of our stay. I can absolutely see myself coming back!

Cedar's Shadow Cottage

GrigoryRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Douglas and Donna were were easy to communicate and very friendly. The cabin itself if very new, it has everything you may need for a weekend escape or even a longer stay. I also really liked how well-insulated it was - even in the middle of the night it wasn't cold. We wore hut booties though. There is a little flat trail going from the car parking to the cabin. The hosts provide a wagon to help carry your stuff, but I'd just suggest to not overpack. Overall it was a great experience and we'd definitely come stay there again!

Pitt Lake Cabin #8 - Boat Access Only

DonnaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
I have to say that this was probably the most relaxing vacation we've ever had. We swam in the rain, hiked, read, did puzzles, and painted. We cooked together and made the best of the rain. The neighbors didn't seem to be around, so we had this little slice of paradise all to ourselves. The place isdogs friendly, which is a huge plus. I loved the old stove, and we even had our first crayfish. There were lots of huckleberries to pick, so we made huckleberry pancakes. I would recommend this place 100%. We hope to come back for my son's and my birthday in September.

Alderwood Farm Cozy Cottage

MarcusRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I had the most wonderful stay at Jules’ cottage at Alderwood Farm! The cottage was incredibly cozy yet felt surprisingly spacious, thanks to the high ceilings and thoughtful layout. The photos don’t do it justice! The bathroom was a particular highlight with its stunning Mediterranean-style tiles and a big skylight that filled the space with natural light—it was an absolute dream (especially when it rained). Not to mention Tony the donkey, the geese, the dogs, the chickens, and of course, the emus, were all so much fun to see. After just two nights, it genuinely hurt to leave, and this is the first Airbnb I’ve stayed at where I immediately wanted to plan a return trip. Jules was a fantastic host, incredibly friendly, made great recommendations on what to do and where to eat, and overall made the entire experience perfection. Can’t wait to visit again!

Paradise Valley Acres

MarieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Beautiful property! Our stay was relaxing and peaceful. The sauna on the river was wonderful especially the day after a day of skiing. We loved the architecture and design of the cabin. For your dogs: the river is lovely and they will enjoy it! Ours did. There is a dog next door that likes to bark sometimes but he is super friendly. He won’t go into the yard if you’re there but he will come over and peek once in a while. This property was dog friendly and ours had a lot of room to burn their energy. It’s about 45 minutes from Whistler mountain. The home came with everything we needed. Lots of towels and spices for cooking. Although I would recommend bringing hair and body toiletries as there wasn’t shampoo/conditioner when we arrived. Not a big deal but we had to buy some from Whistler village and that premium price wasn’t fun.

Waterfront Guest Cabin

JessicaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We spent a long weekend here with our two boys. Having the house right on the water was fabulous, made for hours of the kids searching for crabs while we hung out on the chairs. Neighbors were also friendly as they walked the beach. Conveniently close to center of town, super easy to get around.

Gorgeous Waterfront Guest Cottage

ChadRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The location and view are unbelievable. The house seems brand new. Everything is very nice. From the moment you walk in you feel at home. Waking up to water and mountains , watching the views change constantly was so peaceful. Sheila met us when we showed up and we chatted for a few minutes but other than that it was silent and relaxing for 4 days. Gibson is a 10 minute drive for town stuff….make sure to check out Gibsons Landing for a stroll along the water. Plenty of other little great towns to visit within a short drive along the coast. From the views, the most comfortable bed, the gas fireplace, heated floors and quiet, peaceful surroundings…you can’t beat this place! Thanks Gary and Sheila for opening your beautiful home and sharing it with us.

The Ocean at your Door - Cozy Waterfront Cottage

FaithRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is a beautiful, tranquil well-equipped cottage. Lynette and David have obviously spent time creating and maintaining this cozy and extremely comfortable home-away-from home. From the gentle lapping of the waves to the gorgeous view of the ocean from the sofa and bed, and the warmth of the fireplace, we were so glad we chose this cottage for our respite and wee vacay. We so hope to return again. The glorious sunshine made our stay extra special! 😎

Waterfront Cabin and sauna, very private! #8920

DylanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Amazing space- felt completely private sitting on the patio enjoying a morning coffee. Close to Squamish and a number of amazing hikes, never short of things to do. The wildlife was cool to see, we personally saw a few seals, sea otters, and tons of bird life. The cabin was cozy and quiet and perfect for a few days away from technology. All in all, would visit Maria’s cabin again!

Coastal Retreat

AlistairRating, 5 stars5 months ago
The spacious "cabin" is superbly designed and equipped. Top quality appliances, under-floor heating (which we didn't need, it being summer) with multiple controls for different areas of the house (which is a better description for it), triple-glazed windows with screens, I could go on! The forest situation, in a waterfront residential district of large lots and big houses, ia tranquil and beautiful. As we were visiting family in the area, we didn't do much more than sleep in the "cabin", but one could truly live in it for extended periods. It's hard to think what could be done to improve it. A special touch, which my wife and family visitors admired very much, was the "frosted glass" window next to the front door, which showed an aerial view chart of the islands and coastline of the Georgia Strait waters of BC. We will certainly stay there again!

An amazing place to stay for a nice getaway. The place itself was immaculate and had everything we needed for a cozy cabin! Being surrounded by beautiful forested land and the creek right outside was so amazing! Ayla was very helpful, and friendly. Will definitely want to return here again!

Rishi Retreat Studio Cabin

JeromeRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Monika and Daniel were very responsive and easy to deal with. Explanations about the place and restaurants recommendations were clear and useful. Despite the cabin being next to their house, we felt we were alone in the woods and did not feel anyone’s presence. Would stay there again anytime.
