Vacation rentals in Alconbury

I booked based on previous reviews and was not disappointed. The cottage is lovely and has everything you could need for a perfect stay. I was able to park directly outside the cottage with no concerns. Rutland Water is gorgeous and I really enjoyed walking round the reservoir. I also drove to Seaton and found a great view of the very impressive viaduct. I didn’t meet Marie or Ben but Marie was in contact throughout my visit to make sure I had everything I needed. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely property.

Honeypot cottage is ideal for anyone that wants a small and beautiful village break. The cottage is so cute and very quirky. We used the log burner most nights which created such a lovely relaxed and warm cosy atmosphere. We had everything we needed in the cottage and loved the style and quality of everything the owners supplied. The hosts were very helpful. The area is beautiful, peaceful and ideal for walking and exploring. Thank you Caroline and Simon for your hospitality.

Such a beautiful house which looked even better in person. Katy greeted us upon arrival which was a lovely touch & was very responsive throughout our stay. The house is furnished beautifully & is in a great location with Newmarket high street less than 10mins away. We also went into Cambridge which was only a 25min drive. We would love to return, thank you!

Great little hideaway for some peace

From the moment we booked Amber has proven to be an amazing Host with clear and precise instructions along with the feel that nothing would be too much trouble. The welcome feel we got when we entered the property was amazing. Beautiful log fire burning away, underfloor heating and a beautiful welcome pack of goodies were all waiting for us. The property is out of this world and the quality shone all around. We also ventured out to the nearby Griffin Pub which was superb and well worth a visit. Thank you once again Amber for a wonderful weekend and I know we’ll be booking again. Mike

This place is just stunning. Beautifully decorated and kitted out. Everything comfortable and homely. The hot tub was spotless and soooo lovely. Parking right outside your lodge. The setting is idyllic with the fishing lake just in front and it’s so very peaceful. You can feed the ducks as they come up to the lodges. There’s donkeys, geese, ducks, alpacas and peacock/hen. There even a games room on site with a snooker and pool table and dart board with lots of board games etc you can play. A lovely welcome package on arrival that included a bottle of Prosecco, bread, milk and biscuits. Really helpful guy on site that couldn’t do enough for us (think his name was David). Good comms with the owner Sharon. Would highly recommend.

Just had a lovely few days at Jennifer's place. We have stayed before and were happy to return. Lovely cosy and clean accommodation in peaceful surroundings. Highly recommend.
