Vacation rentals in Alcatraz

My family really enjoyed our stay. House was inviting and comfortable. Host had a book on counter that was very thorough. Showed activities, closest hospitals (just in case), and restaurants It also had instructions for what to do for check out. We would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in the area.

INCREDIBLE! Cute cozy cabin with all the amenities,, less than two miles from downtown. There is a bbq restaurant next door if you are looking for something close as well as restaurants and a Walmart nearby if you need anything. The cabin is great, but the hosts are even more amazing. Lacey went out of her way to ensure we could extend our stay an extra two days when Houston airports were shut down. She was always available and quick to respond. They are probably not supposed to tell you this on this site, but they also own a snowmobile tour company up at Purgatory resort. We took advantage of our extra time in Durango to spend some time on the trails. Check out Snowmobile Adventures for a great time. Ben & Lacey you are great and accommodating hosts! Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back out for Snow Down next year and hope to stay with you again!

Stayed here for the month of November. Weather was beautiful, the surrounding area was gorgeous AND it even snowed a bit. It’s very rural so stating it was “peaceful” is an understatement! 12/10 would stay here again. Not to mention the hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive when I had questions.

It literally was a perfect place for us to do our leadership retreat! The bedrooms were so comfortable, the kitchen was great to cook in with a group, and the house was as beautiful as the scenery outside…everything that anyone would ever need while staying at a house :) We have a middle school, high school, and college ministry and with the living room downstairs, the living room on the main level and the use of the master bedroom upstairs, everyone had a place to meet and plan with their team! The main living room also worked perfectly for our group training times with everyone gathered around while staff members presented. I could go on and on about the house and the amazing host, Connie :) Our weekend was incredible, thank you so much Connie!! :)

Cindy’s house was cute, comfortable and warm. We enjoyed the fireplace and being able to use it each night. The front porch area and looking out over the mountains was a wonderful feature. The cleaning staff is not attentive and I explained to Cindy which she stated she’d address and appreciated that we let her know. The master bed was hard but clean linens. Same for the pull out couch bed in the second bedroom. Overall we enjoyed our stay and Cindy was great by asking if we needed anything the night we arrived. We loved our stay in Durango.

Ricks place was well located, we have family in the area so we did alot of visiting. A very cool white Christmas. I will be back again so day.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The area was beautiful, private, and peaceful. It was a great place to get away and just relax and unwind. We will definitely be booking this place again. We highly recommend staying at this beautiful cabin.

This place was amazing! We sat by the fire pit almost every night and enjoyed the peacefulness!! It had beautiful scenery and even got to see the northern lights one night.
