Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Alburgh

Liza’s home was beautiful, and it couldn’t be closer to Stowe Mountain Resort. It was the perfect ski trip house for my group, and the host was incredibly accommodating and helpful.

Fantastic stay at Mary Anne’s home! Beautiful property and beautiful views from inside the home. The home was extremely clean and felt homey! We also loved having such a large yard to go out and play in the snow! Conveniently located to nearby Stowe, but away from the hustle and bustle - very quiet and peaceful. The snowplow for the driveway was a nice surprise too! Perfect location for our family trip to see snow!

Communication was great, he set expectations upfront and gave us everything we needed to know without having to reach out for further questions. Since visiting in January, unfortunately the main sitting area was a bit chilly and you did need to light the fireplace however the rooms were too warm for bed. Regardless we had a very relaxing time and enjoyed our stay.

When my husband and I arrived at Amanda’s place we went to check in and had trouble with the code that was given to us, but Amanda was very responsive and super helpful! She was able to unlock the door from an app on her phone and reset a new code for us from her phone. She then stayed on the phone with us as we tried this new code, she was super friendly! We really enjoyed our stay overall! We stayed for 3 nights! Amanda would check in on us which was very kind! Very cozy and cute place! Would stay again!!😊

We enjoyed our stay at Kathleen’s house very much. There were 6 of us; my family and my brother’s. The house was very cozy with an open kitchen and living room space with high ceilings. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed and many things we didn’t expect like breakfast foods, coffee, etc. The two bathrooms were both spotless and had lots of nice soft towels. The outdoor furniture was very nice and new and the property is private and nicely maintained. A few of us also enjoyed using the kayaks on the lake directly across the street. We were attending a family reunion at a house on the same street so the location was extremely convenient. We liked this house so much we would like to book again for our future reunions.

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house nestled on a hillock. The house was clean and clutter free. The rooms are quite spacious and with essential amenities. All the kitchenwares and cutleries were clean and easy to find. The air vents and the thermostats work as desired. The house also boasts a good sized garage. It is perfect for a group of friends and family who wants to experience typical Stowe vibes with peace and privacy. 10/10 for providing the directions regarding checkin and checkout. Would definitely keep this on top of my mind while visiting Stowe next time.

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend. It was close to Lake Placid, but far enough away from town to relax and enjoy nature. There was little shop about 2 minutes driving distance that had wine and liquor as well as coffee, snacks and food. It was great for those with gluten and dairy allergies. The place was clean and cozy and looked even better than the pictures. Lisa was very responsive. Would definitely return!

Great little place "off the beaten path" conveniently located between Saranac and Placid. So many nice touches in decorating and remodeling plus an extremely well stocked kitchen. Huge fenced in yard for dogs. Jodi was very responsive to our questions! Quite alot of snowmobile traffic on the trail behind the house but noise wasn't excessive especially at night. Plus, the dog was entertained watching : )

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment! It was perfectly outfitted with everything we needed and made for a cozy getaway, especially with the charming fireplace. The location was great—within walking distance to downtown, where we found great restaurants, cocktail bars, and coffee shops. For anyone traveling with a dog, there are a few different dog parks nearby, which was super convenient. The apartment was easy to find, and the instructions were clear and straightforward. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend!

great stay for family over holiday - thank you!

This was our families first time to Vermont, and this little place was great. It was private and peaceful, and supremely beautiful in the snow. It was a lovely place to unwind at the end of each day after exploring and hiking in snowy Vermont. We took full advantage of the full size fridge and stove/oven and were able to cook everyday if we wanted. There was TV to watch movies and a portable crib for our infant to sleep in, which was great! We also loved the hot tub- it was magnificent in the snow. The one thing that was rough was the beds- we did not sleep well on the beds. They were very small for a couple (double) to sleep in together and even harder to snuggle with our kids. We Would love to come back next year and find a queen or king size cozy bed- it would make the entire stay perfect! We would highly recommend this location in the winter, especially in the snow. I’m sure it is just as lovely in the other seasons. We would stay again in the future.

David was quick to respond and provided all the information needed prior to our arrival. The place was exactly what we expected from the listing’s information and pictures. Easy ski in/ski out was exactly what we wanted and what we got. The place has a great view for over looking the main areas of the ski resort. Would recommend to anyone looking for a convenient ski vacation.

beautiful house, big parking for several cars. everything was great, with one exception it was very cold on the first floor. one heater for the whole floor was not enough. maybe it was very cold because there were frosts, I think in the summer it is very cool here! Thank you!

Great place to stay! we had a wonderful time. very clean and cozy. very close to the center of where we wanted to be, but away from the traffic. Johnny was very responsive and the place was great. We would definitely stay here again

The flat was really lovely! Very very clean and organized. The bedding was amazing and super comfortable. The location is walkable to the pedestrian district downtown and was really perfect for us!

Simone’s condo was exactly as described and had all the amenities of a hotel and the necessities of home. Very clean and so cozy. We were able to ski home from the mountain which was such a fun experience. Warm fires and a view of the fireworks, we would recommend and will definitely be booking again! Thank you, Simone!

The property is lovely. It was quite well appointed throughout. We loved the Christmas tree and poinsettias since we were there over the winter holidays. Also we enjoyed the puzzles and games. The kitchen had plenty of cookware and utensils which is often overlooked by many properties but means so much when one likes to cook as much as we do. Sleeping was relaxing on the Sleep Number beds. The scenic views were magnificent. We enjoyed sledding after the 10 inches of snow received on the property during our stay. The hot tub was used by us every evening but one while we were there except for the day it had its weekly service. Jake was responsive when we asked questions about the driveway and got us help when we needed it promptly. Any time we had a question his response time was quick. Additionally, his informative guidebook was invaluable.

This was a prefect place for a weekend getaway with families. We were there with 3 families in wintertime and had the plan to really just be relaxing at the house. So, while I said the surroundings weren’t particularly I treating, we didn’t expect them to be, and it looked there were lovely berry picking farms and orchards in other seasons. The communication was very easy, the house was very clean and well-equipped. The kids and adults love the pool, the movie screen, the sauna and the game room! Thanks for everything!

Truly beautiful place. I came with two of my best friends to relax and celebrate their birthday. We felt right at home once we got here. Very clean space and the beds were very comfy. The hot tub and pool was the best! Anuska and James are very responsive as well. They also left gift bags for us which was very thoughtful of them.

Very nice home with great amenities. Great location to and from everything. Nicely distributed with space for everyone. Beds were comfortable and the home has plenty of towels etc. Overall it was a great place for weekend or longer. Maria was easy to communicate with and there were no issues.

Lucas was an amazing host! I highly recommend his property to anyone. It was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our family getaway. We look forward to visiting soon. 😊
