This is a little Oasis. We loved touring the gardens and saying hellos to the ducks and chickens. It was wonderful having three private rooms for our group. The local recommendations he provided were helpful. Make sure you order some of their baking and preserves while enjoying your stay. We were lucky enough to try their fare at the farmer’s market. Delicious!

We enjoyed every moment of our stay in the crow’s nest suite. It was thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the ocean view, hearing the rain on the skylights and sitting by the fireplace. Thanks to Milan and Marnie for creating this peaceful little oasis. We can’t wait to come back!

Cedar Nest is super cozy and welcoming. Perfect for a couple! It’s an easy walk to the beach and a short drive to town with lots of options. Albert and Sabine were superb hosts and very helpful with excellent recommendations. The cabin itself is really cool and is notable for how well equipped it was with lots of small touches and attention to detail. The outdoor shower is a true highlight!

Liz & Dean made it very easy to enjoy our time there. They were communicative & welcoming, & we still had lots of privacy. Surprisingly one of our fave days was the day spent home in the rain, the cottage was so cozy. The rest of the days were spent in the sunshine, wandering the island & at the beach. The internet was not reliable, so I should have made sure we downloaded shows/podcasts ahead of time but we had lots of books luckily. This is a great spot as a home base to explore Hornby & we are grateful they shared their property with us.

We would definitely stay again. It was a great place. Small and cozy. Host went out of his way to ensure we had a good experience.

What a lovely cabin at Janek & Shay's spot! We stayed three nights there and the bedroom in the loft was sooo comfortable and easy to sleep :-). I will mention that the March weather conditions in the Ucluelet area turned out to be far better than what we had expected, and we were able to go on two lovely walkways through the ocean Wild Pacific Trail that was just a couple minutes to drive from our cabin! The kitchen was great, which we used for our breakfasts, and the provided coffee was excellent! Of course, we also went for walks through the famous Long Beach areas and Tofino, both of which were not far to get to... so staying at Janek and Shay's cabin was a perfect choice for our vacation there!

Kathy and Derek are easy and comfortable hosts. Their lovely small suite provided a perfect place for us to relax after busy days with our family. The bed was very comfortable and both of us slept unusually well. Thank you! We hope to come again soon.

We had such a nice stay at the Cabin! The location was beautiful, and we loved listening to the crash of the waves while cozied up by the woodstove, and sitting in the hot tub. We had so much fun going on waterfall and beach hikes in the area. Would highly recommend this cabin!

Me and my daughters love this place. This was our second time here, and my kids are already pleading to go back next year. Michael and Selinda are just lovely people, and naturally fell into the role of grandparents. My kids loved the chance to feed the chickens and collect eggs, feed the bunnies, and go for walks with Selinda. The cottage is fairly rustic, but well kept and cute. The kids had the run of the property and meadow. This year was more successful, in that I did better meal and grocery planning on Vancouver Island before coming over. Denman Island is beautiful, but quiet and there are not a lot of restaurant options. Come prepared! Some of our favourite excursions were the Morning Beach, Graham Lake, Chickadee Lake, and a day trip to Hornby Island. We just love this place - Denman Island, this cottage, the vibe - it truly is our happy place.

This is a wonderful place. Natasha and George seemed to think of everything. The unit seemed to be newly renovated (or built) and in impeccable condition. The space was very well-arranged, easy to function in, and comfortable. Instructions for the wood stove and the wood-fired sauna were provided and easy to follow. The cottage had a well-equipped kitchen, lots of blankets and throws for added coziness, and a snack basket. The sauna was a treat for us. Cottage and outdoor space was very quiet and very private with a high fence around it. It was close to some great walking trails. Natasha responded quickly to any of our questions. I hope we can return someday. Thank you Natasha and George.

This place is absolutely stunning with unparalleled, breathtaking views! Lisen was a very responsive and kind host. We had a warm welcome and Lisen went above and beyond to provide us with a crib and high chair, ensuring our littles were comfortable. She provided many local recommendations which were great. The place is immaculate and has everything you need. Staying at Norra Hem was one of the best experiences as a family of 4 and we can't wait to come back!

Just being in Tofino was amazing along with our hots springs tour. I found Erika to be responsive, courteous and helpful. Helpful in a way of taking care of the barbecue when it wasn’t usable by offering a smaller one for use. To top off this wonderful visit, I mistakenly left some clothes there and they offered to send it to me. Top shelf care Highly recommend

We loved our time in this beautiful location. Perfect if you're looking for a relaxing, peaceful holiday right by the ocean. Be ready to disconnect as wifi can be dodgy, but so much to watch out the window - sea lions, seals, herons, crashing waves! Kitchen is well equipped, really enjoyed soaking in the tub and relaxing on the comfortable sofa. The tram that takes your luggage and supplies down is wonderful. Would definitely come back!

Jonny’s place offered incredible access to the beautiful beach, a man amazing hot outdoor shower for a post-surf experience, and was cozy on chilly nights. We loved the quaint and Scandinavian design inside, and felt instantly at home!

Really nice and peaceful place. Petra was extremely friendly, easy going, available, helpful, and provided great recommendations. Even though some areas are shared, we felt like we had the place to ourselves.

Jonny’s place is beautiful and well appointed. The space is tastefully decorated and the kitchen well equipped. The neighbourhood is safe, architecturally varied and right next to the Pacific. A silence descends as soon as you arrive and you can finally feel at peace.

Beautiful home right across the road from the beach. Kitchen was fully stocked with kitchen appliances and little extras. Very clean and lots of extras to make your stay super convenient. Would 100% recommend and would love to stay again. Thank you!

Amazing place, clean and tidy with a fabulous ocean view. Diana was very helpful and proactively reaching out to make sure everything is good, appreciate that! We were lucky to see a clear sky with the Milky Way.
