Vacation rentals with a patio in Alameda County

We stayed at the Sophia's Alameda condo for a month August - September 2024, The place is extremely nice with lots of good light, views, and a roomy feel. The building is new, everything works well, and the place is easy to navigate. The area has such a different feel from other parts of the East Bay, with the newness, the cleanliness, and all of the water attractions right there, We really enjoyed taking the free water taxi from the pier (5 min walk) to Jack London Square for dinner and also walking the Bay Trail from the condo. The large mall almost next door is convenient and despite its nearness, we didn’t really notice it once inside the unit as no windows face that direction and mall traffic is not a problem in the housing complex. We used Target and Safeway quite a lot, plus if you have an EV, Target has a set of fast charge stations for non-Teslas. Lastly, Sophia is incredibly responsive. She answered all of my texts within minutes and was very helpful and flexible.

The Pacific was perfect for my daughter and me. The place had everything we needed, plus some nice pampering items in the bathroom. It would also be great for families with small children: a big backyard, games, safety precautions (ex. outlets had protective covers) and plenty of interior space. My only wish would have been to have a real oven. But it wasn’t truly necessary as there are lots of excellent restaurants nearby. You’ll find many suggestions and menus in the instruction binder. Shining and Devon were kind and very quick to respond. Good people. I’ll be back next time I’m in Alameda!

Great communication with the host. Very responsive. The view was breathtaking. There was someone in the upstairs unit but I could barely hear them. The instructions were very clear, and I like how things were labeled. I highly recommend them.

We had a great stay at Alexander's home in Walnut Creek. It is close to restaurants, public transportation, and highways. The home was immaculate, and the small details showed how much Alexander cares about his guests. K-cups were provided and the bathroom was stocked with many items. Parking was right outside, and the use of the washer and dryer meant we didn't have to pack as much as we would have otherwise (detergent included). If we make another trip to the Bay Area, we will definitely be booking with Alexander. Top notch stay!

Donna’s places was super cute! She was super responsive and kind, loved that she had snacks and coffee in the room!

This is a great little spot—a good and convenient location and well-maintained. The host was proactive and attentive. The price for the location could not be beat during the time we needed to stay! Lots of businesses within easy walking distance, the train is great (and now very quiet!), and the running trails nearby are wonderful. Our tweenager found the futon too hard to sleep on—make of that what you will. It’s still a convenient amenity if you need an extra sleeping space. The parking is a bit tight, at least when you are operating a new-to-you rental car, but, honestly, all residential parking is difficult in this area of Belmont, and the fact that there is a spot and generally room to turn around is itself a huge asset. Wish the privacy hedge at the back of the apartment was a little shorter to allow more of a view of the bay, but that’s really nitpicky. This was a great spot for our needs.

I had a fantastic stay at Bonnie’s place for two and a half weeks. The home was spotless and well-equipped, making it perfect for a long stay. Bonnie was a great host—clear and communicative, even letting me know in advance about the steep stairs leading up to the house, which I appreciated. The location was great, within walking distance to Piedmont Grocery and a Blue Bottle, which was awesome. The space was comfortable, quiet, and had everything I needed. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elizabeth and Keven's place. Elizabeth responded helpfully and quickly to our communications. When we had trouble getting access to streaming services (we were unfamiliar with the Roku service), Keven came right away to make sure all was working and that we understood how to access it. Too, he checked on the WiFi to make sure that, too, was in good working order. When we arrived we were greeted by ducks in the front yard. The apartment was quiet and well equipped. We'd gladly visit there again, and appreciate Elizabeth and Keven's attention to their guests' comfort.

Vintage Berkeley bungalow, featuring artisanal craft-works and lush houseplants. Single bathroom remodeled stylishly. Functional kitchen. Quiet private garden/entertaining space (although bad weather kept us from using it). On-premise parking a plus and VERY convenient to shopping, restaurants, brew-gardens, bikeway, etc. Leslie handled a thermostat issue as soon as possible and maintained a steady communication-flow. A customized booklet about the property and environs was an excellent resource. Happily, a home away from home for 10+ days!!

Perfect place for my kids and family. We had four adults and two kids and plenty more room! Place felt cozy and we really enjoyed our stay. Blocks away from Costco and the mall including lots of places to eat. Only a few minutes from major parks and things to do. Jiayi was incredibly accommodating and very kind.

Jackie & her home rate a 10 out of 5 for (1) furnishings/supplies; (2) condition of the home and (3) location – all with great attention to detail & care! She goes above & beyond! Jackie has thought of everything that one could need, including every kind of “start-up” supplies – from the kitchen & refrigerator, to the laundry, the bathrooms, and the closets! If you need anything, it is there the same day or the next. She responds almost immediately. The home environment is spotlessly clean; it is crisp and airy with a fresh modern touch (the new kitchen, master bedroom and master bath all designed /renovated by her architect husband). Cleaning & change of linens is weekly, including bed covers and bath mats! The location is ideal, being a 2-3 block walk to BART, a walkable 1 mile to restaurants/shops on Solano Avenue, a 1/2 mile to a shopping center for groceries, CVS & Starbucks. Jackie really cares that you have a good experience during your visit! We are rebooking!

We would definitely rent Kit’s place again! It was perfect for our family of 4 - kids shared a room but they had separate beds. Beds were comfortable with nice linens. Impressively stocked kitchen with nice touches like tea and spices. The street is busy during rush hour, but you cannot hear the noise from the bedrooms. Encinal Market and Lincoln Park within walking distance. Very responsive hosts and highly recommend!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The home was peaceful and located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood with beautiful views. One of the biggest highlights was how welcoming they were to our pups. It made our stay even more enjoyable. Communication was excellent; they were always quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

Navin's place was perfect for our family visiting us. The home was beautiful and had an amazing kitchen which was where we had many cooked meals and loving family memories. Our little ones also enjoyed the books to look at and the beautiful lemon sun room. Having was friendly, responsive, and very accommodating. Thank you Navin!

I had a wonderful stay at Tesfay’s place. The location was fantastic—close to excellent restaurants, Lake Merritt for outdoor activities, and convenient access to BART or the highway for trips to San Francisco and other nearby attractions. The unit was spotless and well-appointed, featuring a spacious bedroom, a cozy living room, and a fully equipped kitchen. I highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting the Bay Area!

Our stay at Star's condo was great, easy to check in and check out. Loved having our own garage to park in each day, the balcony was a plus and the unit is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Would def love to stay here again the next time we are in the area!

Sami's place is comfortable, sweet and light-filled. Obviously well cared for and loved. Lots of great kitchen amenities - pots, pans, etc. There was easy street parking right in front. The whole place is very comfortable and cute. Also, Sami was very responsive and accommodating with check in and check out times. Would definitely stay again!

Everything was easy peasy! So close to the MacArthur BART station, with easy access to San Francisco and the rest of the East Bay. It was a great place for my quick stay in Oakland!

I stayed in the apartment for two weeks and had a fantastic time. The apartment is located in a quiet area green area. I have seen deers a couple of times walking in the morning and evening through the garden in front of the hose. It takes 15 minutes of walking to UC Berkeley and 10 minutes to the fire trails where you can go running or have a small scenic hike . The kitchen works well, the bed is comfy, and Diego was extremely helpful and always answered promptly. It really an amazing place and I would be very happy to return.

Noel’s always responsive and friendly during our stay. The house is exactly the one you see on the pictures. Check-in and check-out are also easy to process. Furthermore, it’s a quiet neighborhood which you can get great rest here. Recommend to stay if it is available!

Safe, comfortable, and a great night sleep

The apartment was very clean and in a great neighborhood. Communication was an A+ as well. I did not have a single issue and loved the condo. The bed was super comfortable!
