A very good choice. A beautiful older timbered wooden house with charm with a newly built part that has been well adapted in style. A lovely living room with open fireplace and a wonderful view over Mjösa. A well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and fresh , everything felt welcoming.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay in Holmenkollen at Anne's house. Getting from the airport to Anne's house with two 23 kg suitcases was easier than expected: the (underground) train station is about 5' away. The city can be reached quickly and easily: a train runs every 15 minutes and with a 7-day ticket for zone 1 you can travel very flexibly and the price is really cheap: around 30 euros. The environment is green and very quiet and you can go jogging or hiking directly on good paths in large forests. Anne is a very friendly hostess and easily accessible at all times. The beautiful Norwegian house with more than 100 years of history was renovated and has very bright window fronts and high rooms facing south, from where you can enjoy beautiful views of Oslo and the fjord. And it is constantly and pleasantly heated via the well-kept floor, even on colder days in summer. To make it short: this house is a real pearl. Take care of this beautiful home when you rent it!

Great communication with Daniela. We were very happy to borrow the family's lovely, cozy and inspiring apartment. Nice garden, nice living room/kitchen and lovely rooms. Linens were put on when we arrived - very classy! Good beds. Lovely with a bathtub in the bathroom. Our kids (ages 6 and 9) had fun with the toys and on the trampoline. There are trains to Oslo city center a short walk from the apartment. It was easy. Good size apartment with really exciting and personal decor - it was a very good experience to be here. We would love to come again! 😀

We had an absolutely amazing time at Nora’s house. The location is stunning, the walks are beautiful and the house is very accessible via foot. Before booking Nora shared the bus app information and general directions to the house, which was very helpful information and made the commute considerably smoother. Communication was excellent, right from before booking until the day we left. Nora gave us so many recommendations and responded immediately when we contacted her. Genuinely a really lovely experience, 10/10 home and host! We would love to come and stay again in the future!

Comfortable home with large kitchen and dining areas. Host was very helpful and friendly.

A spacious, modernised and well equipped house located very close to hiking and cross country skiing trails. It is cosy and well decorated and works as a home away from home. We rented an electric car and the house had good parking and allowed for free use of their charger. We enjoyed our stay during the Christmas season and are happy to recommend it.

We returned happy and enjoyed our second Christmas Eve in the charming cottage. It's really peace and quiet here. Nice with new automatic lamps in the porch and in the toilet. Drinking water in the pump outside is great. The cabin heats easily and quickly with the wood-burning stove. Nice firewood at the cabin. The kitchen has everything you need. Cozy open living room/kitchen. Warm loft. Duvets/pillows for everyone and warm woolen blankets. Lots of candlesticks, so you can enjoy the dark hours as well. Nice food storage in the cold porch. Quiet area with beautiful nature. Easy to find and easy to check in. Sindre is on top of everything. Trash dumpsters a few miles from the cabin. Pure relaxation and pampering of the soul. Presence and no disturbance.

Jan Fredrik was very nice and proactive in communication. He gave a lot of good information before our arrival. We didn't have to contact him during our stay, due to these good instructions. We were greeted upon arrival and got a walk-through of the house. We had a very nice stay at the house and especially appreciated that the area is quiet and private, but at the same time within walking distance to shops and public transport at Ullevål Stadium.

It was a wonderful 4 days in a cozy and comfortable house with all amenities. I haven't experienced a more friendly and helpful host before. The house is located in the suburbs of Oslo, next to a bus stop and a shop. All photos and description of the house fully correspond to reality. We felt at home and grateful for Anniken's generous hospitality. She was very prompt in answering any questions we had. We will remember this vacation for a long time and hope to come back again, but already in the summer ;)

Oddbjørn’s house is incredible. With a beautiful location right on the water and tons of space in the house it feels like a vacation the moment you step inside or out onto the deck. There are so many amenities, the kitchen is huge, the sauna is a fantastic addition. This space is perfect for large groups or a family looking to get away for the weekend. With kayaks, canoes, and a rowboat you can explore a serene lake and really enjoy the surroundings. Enjoy a great week in Norway at this spectacular house!!

Marianne is an excellent host. We stayed for 3 months and any queries we’ve had have been addressed swiftly. The property is in excellent condition and catered for two adults and a toddler. We particularly appreciated that the area is quiet and full of nature. Highly recommend.

we enjoyed staying at Anita's cottage. We stayed there with 2 children. Great views over Oslo. You can easily reach the city with a train that leaves a 10-minute walk away. Also close to beautiful nature. Anita is an incredibly sweet and helpful woman. She responds right away when there is something and has good tips for activities. Highly recommended! Great little place about 15 minutes from city of Oslo - peaceful but with grocery stores just 4 minute walk away etc. Tram station 5 minutes.

We were here for the IBU Biathlon and were looking for a place that was close to the Holmenkollen stadium, which this is! We had the luxury of continued communication with Per in the weeks that lead up to the event which was very reassuring and so when we eventually did travel it was less of a daunting experience. The home is large, clean and inviting. Most of all it was WARM, which is what you need after coming down from the frozen hills. Plenty of hot water to shower with. The city centre is 20 minutes away on the metro train and the station is, again, very close to the home. We downloaded the Ruter Billett app to purchase our tickets, the 7 day pass seeming to be the best value while we were there. There are not too many places to eat near the home but that wasn't an issue for us. Many nice places in the city waiting to be explored. Check out was very generous too. No having to rush away on the final morning. It all added up to a very good experience and I'd certainly visit again should I need accommodation here, in the future.

My boyfriend and I have been to Norway for the first time and very happy with this accommodation. Wonderfully quiet and beautiful surroundings. Anikken was easily accessible and was quick to respond. Especially very helpful and thoughtful, we got a lot of tips from her. We have felt very much at home here partly because of the hospitality. The cottage was also clean, cozy and equipped with everything you needed :)

A very well situated cabin, immediately on the lake shore. The cabin is pleasantly decorated and furnished. Oystein replied very quickly to questions which arose once arrived at the cabin. Also the supermarket in Grua is large enough to stock almost everything we needed.

A perfect house in a beautiful setting in the middle of a winter wonderland. We had a lovely Christmas. The house has everything you need. Tommy is available at all times and helped us quickly. We would love to come back.

We loved this place! Although it looks small on the pictures, the house is actually bigger than expected. And really cute with the wooden walls and decorations. 2 good bedrooms, large living room, well equipped kitchen, 2 tables to eat, large bathroom with everything you need, it looked very organized. Kare also gave excellent instructions by pictures how to get to the house! We could easily find it even though there was snow and it was dark. We didnt have time to do the walks he showed in the information folder, but those seemed also very well explained. The house is 20min to the airport but very quiet (no sound of planes at all) in an forestry area but still not completely isolated, there were some other small houses around, really a cute little village in the woods. The house was clean, linnen was on the beds and in the bathroom and kitchen, and it was nicely heated at arrival. It is clear to us that Kare is an excellent host. We felt really at home and would definitely come back!
