Thanos is an exceptional host and the place was incredible! The location is perfect- easy parking, very near everything, views are stunning. The home was clean and beautiful. A/C units in the living area and both bedrooms. The bedroom with the view has a queen size bed and is very comfortable. The interior bedroom has a king size bed but is very firm. The balcony is stunning. One thing to note: the pool is private (your own pool), but there is not much privacy. Thanos made check in a breeze and was so helpful throughout our stay. We will absolutely be staying here again!

A highly recommended apartment. The host was always available and answered all our questions quickly. The apartment was super tidy, clean and with everything we needed for our stay. You have to wait about 30 minutes before using the shower, which can be a bit uncomfortable, but the rest was excellent.

We had an enjoyable stay at Marita and George’s apartment! The location was perfect for us, outside of the tourist part which meant we had excellent restaurants that were a fraction of the price - to call out TUK TUK THAI STREET FOOD & Kalyvas Family Grill, whilst being able to easily walk to all the attractions. The apartment is spacious, modern looking and clean. Marita and George are on hand via Airbnb message if you need them. We messaged early on to share that the balcony door lock was broken and the shower fixture loose. We knew that being there over the holidays would mean living with this but wanted to raise so Marita and George were aware. The shower was a known issue and a replacement part had been ordered, the balcony door something new that they would pick up fixing. Even with these two issues we still rate this a 5 out of 5 due to location and feel of the apartment.

Penny's place was an absolute favorite. It has everything I needed all the while being conveniently located in central Athens. Our communication was smooth and easy throughout the whole process, I highly recommend!

Irene was a wonderful host. She greeted me upon arrival (and helped me coordinate a car from the airport). The apartment is comfortable with a nice bed, kitchen with appliances you may want (toaster, juicer, kettle, etc.). Irene provided great neighborhood recommendations (don’t skip Lolo’s) and was very responsive if I had any questions. The neighborhood is relaxed (you are in a city so will hear people outside/neighbors — but not to an obnoxious degree) and very walkable to all the sights of Athens. There’s also a neighborhood farmers market on Friday that’s not to be missed! Thanks Irene and team for a great stay!

Antouella and Christos were such perfect hosts! They were so understanding and helpful when there was a ferry strike and we couldn’t get to the island. They helped us look for ferries and figure out the best way to get there. Once we arrived, he had organized a transfer from the port to the place and was waiting for us there. They sent us an extensive list of restaurants, grocery stores, beaches, bars, breakfast and cafes, places to take day trips and any recommendations you could think of. They were very quick to respond during our stay with any issues we had. The place itself was so perfect, the bed is so comfy and the bathroom is so nice the shower pressure is amazing and the soaps they provide smell amazing. The balcony was so peaceful we would wake up and have a cup of coffee out there. The place was really close to one of the beaches but definitely be prepared to get your steps in as it is very hilly. Overall we had the best time here and the hosts were amazing! 10/10

The apartment is lovely, clean, well appointed, as described in the listing, and well located, but yes, the roof deck is fantastic! There is a view of the Acropolis from the roof deck. Our check in was easy and flexible. The location is so close to everything, but relatively quiet at night. There was some noise at night, but it usually subsided by 10:30 pm. It is close to the subway and so many of the local attractions. We could just pop back into the apartment for water, a rest, a bathroom break, whatever, while we explored the city. Tons of restaurants just a short walk away. We would definitely rent this apartment again if we return to Athens.

Anna and her team were spectacular. They always responded to all of our questions quickly. They were helpful with anything we needed. The Airbnb was exactly what you would picture Greece to be. Great neighborhood. Excellent location. Very clean and comfortable. Thank you for helping make our family vacation a memorable experience!!

We had 6 of us staying at this villa. It was exactly as pictured. We loved the location, it was perfect for our group. It is about 1/2 hour from the airport. We did rent a car, which I think is absolutely needed in this area. The roads are very interesting getting to the house from the highway. And we loved it. Lavrio is about a 15 minute drive and we went there almost daily. There is a grocery store on the way to the house from the airport, that Mario suggested to us. We drove to the airport and parked there for the day on two occasions and took the metro in to Athens. It worked out wonderfully and was so easy to figure out where to get off and on. I would highly recommend Mario and this house. It was peaceful, secluded(ish), plenty of room and you cannot beat the views. Mario met us at the house, he asked midweek how things were and provided some information on things around the area. There are some lovely sandy beaches nearby. Highly recommended!

This chic home was in the perfect location for our week in Athens. Sitting in a peaceful pedestrian enclave in the “old” part of the city, only a moments walk from the Areopagus, Ancient Agora, Acropolis, Filopappou Hill, a wonderful variety of restaurants & so much more! Vasilis was our friendly and thoughtful host. He couldn’t have done more to make our visit to his city a happy & memorable one. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home & comfortable in this well equipped, spotlessly clean home. Our Welcome Hamper with cereal, fruit, milk, water, bread, biscuits & cheese was very much appreciate. We chose to spend part of every day relaxing on the spacious roof terrace. It really does have the most mesmerising views! It might be worth knowing however, that at the time of our visit, there was noisy construction work going on next door due to a house being built on one side and maintenance work being done to an adjoining house on the other side!

We had a wonderful stay in that little, very well renovated apartment. The garden with its view over Athens is unbeatable and the small room upstairs is very charming! The apartment has a lovely and well maintained atmosphere and offers a kitchen and bathroom with everything a family needs. Even binoculars! The bed downstairs maybe is a little small for two adults and the room has no air conditioning, which for october is fine but still a bit warm. The couch in the living room can be easily converted into a bed with a very firm mattress. We liked the area a lot, it’s quiet (though a primary school is next door) and we loved to sit on the terrace and enjoyed the view and the little garden! With metro and a little walk you can easily reach it after your adventures down in Athens! Gianni and his lovely mom gave us very warm welcome and showed us everything! Also he was very helpful with any questions we had. We recommend this home away from home and would definitely come back!

We felt very comfortable at Constantine’s place. It was stylish and spacious. Just right for our 5-day stay in Athens.

Loved the location, a few minutes walk to the Metro Station in one direction, and to the supermarket in the opposite direction. The parking space was useful when we didn't want to drive out. The entrance lock was high-tech. Lots of power sockets around the place, and lots of extra towels provided. Yannis was kind enough to give us an early check-in and a late checkout, which was much appreciated. The place was very spacious and comfortable and Yannis even provided bedroom slippers and a sewing kit. We were met by his associate at check-in, who showed us around. There were bakeries and cafes around the area. Would definitely recommend the place.

Great location with lot of restaurants and cafes around. City downtown and Acropolis are in walking distance. Super responsive host.

Yannis and Helene are wonderful hosts! They’re very responsive and helped my guest and I through any troubles we had during our stay. The place was spotless and the view was amazing. They were very understanding of our late flight and check-out troubles. I would book with them anytime.

Excellent penthouse/maisonette, with large balconies, fully equipped and decorated. The cleanliness and comfort it exudes, leaves the most difficult guest satisfied. Excellent choice. Highly recommended. We thank the hosts, and especially Efthimis, for their excellent hospitality.

We had a lovely couple of days. Dimitris met us on arrival (after 11pm). It was fantastic having a bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival especially so late at night. He was so god in providing us with additional information/ places to eat for my birthday & directions / tips for the football. 100% would recommend this accommodation.

This place was great/better than advertised. Stayed a month so had a good feeling for the place/area. Cons - minimal. Internet was slow (avg 10MB/s down and 1MB/s up). I found an alternative solution. The street is noisy, but you will get that anywhere in a major city. For the rest, they are all positives. First of all Spyros was very responsive. I only had one issue that something broke and within a day he had someone bring a replacement. There were a lot of linens and replacement linens. There were lots of supplies and backup supplies for toiletries and cleaning. I love the area. There are plenty of restaurants and a big farmers market a block away on Wednesdays, It's near a big supermarket and the metro. Best of all is the kitchen which is huge for one brdm apt and great for cooking with a big fridge. There are 2 balconies. The couch is big and comfy. The bed is big and pretty comfortable. The building itself is quiet. I would definitely stay here again.
