We had a lovely family weekend in the Kruger Park Lodge and Heeten's place makes one feel right at home! The Hippo hide and hiking trails are perfect if you love nature and the boys enjoyed some golf! It's nice and close to shops and the swimming pool is right around the corner! Its also only a short 10min drive and you're in the majestic Kruger Park! Heeten is a great host and would definitely recommend! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again soon!

We only stayed the one night but were treated like VIP’s regardless. Communication all the way through the booking process with clear instructions. The cottage is lovely and certainly a place could quite easily make your base for exploring the area all the amenities you need for self catering and ample space at a really affordable price. Would recommend

I enjoyed my stay at Tracy's place, It was exactly just what I needed. Very calm and quiet, and the view was pleasing with wildlife walking by. This secluded river cottage in the wilderness of the Grietjie Nature Reserve offers a perfect and intimate wildlife experience. It offers a 180 degree view of the olifants river! We have enjoyed watching the animals while sitting on the private veranda. The pretty cottage has everything you need to cook and relax along with lovely swimmingpool nearby. We also highly recommend the bush walk with Mike, it was some different level of experience. Oli is a superhost, from giving us thorough understanding of the reserve to making us respectful towards nature and humbly advising us not to be too adventures to roam outside in the bush at dark time 😁, she has done all. Just for Oli and her hospitality and warmness, we surely will keep coming back.

Really cozy and peaceful place, perfect for doing the panorama route from Graskop. Host was very easy to communicate with and check in was flexible. Was a pleasure to stay there!

What a beautiful and magical place. Frans and Louise are wonderful hosts, very considerate and helpful. We also very much enjoyed the fresh eggs from the hens that wander around. Would highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at Cambalala, Kruger Park Lodge and wished we could’ve stayed longer. It had everything we needed, the decor was beautiful, we really appreciated the daily service/ clean and the staff at the lodge were really helpful. Such a great base for day trips into Kruger. Chevon/ Raymond were always helpful and responsive. Can’t wait to go back!

I couldn’t t have asked for more than what I rceived. The place offered tranquility much more than I anticipated. I really enjiyed my weekend in that house.

Nice place. there are a few other cottages but nothing that takes away from your privacy. Lovely view over the valley beyond. great bed and everything you need for simple meals.

The place is great! Beautiful views and amenities. The house is beautiful and the host has a great taste! Very stylish home! The only downside is the home executive/helper who is very casual in ensuring the place is cleaned properly for the next guests… but otherwise beautiful memories were created at this listing! It was FANTASTIC indeed!!! me and my friends would, given an opportunity… boom this listing over and over again!!!

If you are just looking for a bed to sleep in, there are plenty of places to go. But if you a seeking a truly amazing experience in a wonderfully creative architectural environment then the salt cave cottage is definitely something you should try to book. I was there for a week and never left. It was exactly the kind of break I was looking for!
