Vacation rentals in Accrington

What a fantastic stay. We booked for a two night stay for my birthday and we were over the moon with the snowfall! Sam was great and collected us from the local village to take us to and from the lodge as we couldn’t drive up there due to the snow. The whole stay was great from the lodge, the hot tub and location. We will definitely be back and we would reccomend to anyone looking for a private stay away from reality!

What a lovely little cottage. We stayed here with our three children for two nights and loved our stay. Matthew’s place was exactly as it was listed. It was really clean, easy to find and get inside and had everything we needed. The village is really nice and we were only 20 mins away from the polar express station which is why we booked. We also visited Billy Bobs for breakfast the following morning which was excellent, the kids had such a great time. I can’t fault Matthew’s place at all. If we book the polar express next year we will certainly be staying here again.

A very comfortable and well equipped holiday cottage- we appreciated the deep sofas and gas fire plus central heating during our New Year stay! A note for dog owners- there is no secure garden- it does state this on the listing, but I hadn’t appreciated from the photos that the only outdoor space was at the front (not back) of the property, and is therefore open to the road. Fortunately the road is very quiet and our dog tends to stay close- but he still had to be closely watched when he went out for a wee! Overall we had a lovely stay here and enjoyed the dramatic local scenery, despite the rain and wind!

Nice place to stay and close to Piccadilly station. 24 hour communication service staff. They are friendly and politely. A modern apartment looks like what you see in pictures. A high value stay with reasonable price.

5* all round - the photos don’t do the place justice! It was so homely and cosy and has everything you need for a break away. John couldn’t have been more accommodating, very last minute we asked if we could do a farm tour and he got back to us so quickly to arrange a tour (during the festive holidays!) which was so lovely and really made our trip. Would definitely recommend!

We stay every year, lovely cottage perfect for families. No pub or restaurant nearby but plenty within a 20 min drive, worth it for the location. Definitely a place for you if you are after a good walk in beautiful countryside. Lots of stuff in the kitchen for all cooking needs. Very clean and warm. Washing machine and freezer available to use. Lovely fireplace.

I had a lovely stay at Hartley hut! The surroundings were breathtaking and it was so relaxing. I came away on my own and felt so safe even though I had no signal the whole time. The hut was well equipped and exactly as described. I would definitely come again! Thank you for a lovely staycation :)

Really happy with our stay at the Lodge and amazing communication from Pip, the host. As a couple that enjoys hiking, we found many trails such as one directed behind the property leading towards Marsden Moor and the Reservoir which was perfect. The hot tub was a few steps away from the lodge, hidden with a lovely view of the village. Would happily stay here again but definitely worth noting down that the road to the lodge is very steep, especially on foot!

Lovely house - perfect for spending family time together. Really peaceful location, this coupled with the very comfy beds, meant we slept really well, the perfect start to the new year! Lots of space, 2 sitting areas and a large kitchen meant we could enjoy time together without feeling we were on top of one another. 3 great pubs in the village that serve good food and very close to Clitheroe for supermarkets/shops.

Louise is a fantastic host. Friendly and welcoming and left biscuits, crisps and a lovely bottle of wine as a welcome treat. This is in a stunning location made even more beautiful with the snow. Quiet and peaceful Looking forward to being able to visit in sunny weather then we can make use of the outside space. Everything was perfect. Clean, warm, cosy, well equipped Great weekend unwinding. Would stay again

Me and my partner stayed for new year and we was so happy it was a beautiful location , perfect for a couple wanting a night away 100% recommend!
