Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Aargau

For us this was perfect “home base” away from home full of old Swiss rustic charm and private. Very well equipped kitchen, home is spacious, clean and cozy, laundry room came really handy as well. Great location - away from hustle and bustle of Zurich but short distance from it and from the airport as well. Many great day trips possible within 5 min drive up to an hour drive. Grocery store 3 min walk away. Thomas is friendly and super easy to communicate with. We also found great restaurant 5-8 min drive - Gasthof zum Kreuz - shout out to the owner - very friendly made us feel like family - food was great, nice atmosphere and good prices. Grateful we got to experience it all.

Best hosts ever! Nui & Stephan spoiled us with many extras. They are truly passionate about welcoming guests. Location with car is fantastic, minutes away from highway access points to visit Aarau, Zurich, Basel and Bern. Lovely area for walking, visiting castles and exploring. A Volg grocery stores is walking minutes away. The house is big with multiple sitting areas, the kitchen has every gadget, garden and sunroom. A big surprise was having several food items provided to get us started. And there was chocolate & cake.

The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Andrea was incredibly responsive and provided great local recommendations that made our trip even more special. The location was perfect—close to many cities and local outlets. The amenities were top-notch, and we especially loved the kitchen and the dining room overlooking the backyard and the road. Overall, it exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great place to stay in Schotz or near Lucern. Finally, Andrea was always there for us and helped with many things and responded to our inquiries quickly. She was very generous with her time and help!

What an incredible stay! From the moment you drive up the winding road, to realizing you've arrived at the most beautiful view, to being welcomed by the kindest family- this was a truly remarkable stay. We had a delicious breakfast delivered each morning & enjoyed the view while our kids played in the snow. We also toured the farm- this was a really neat experience for us, as we are ranchers from Texas. Bruno provided firewood for us to comfortably experience NYE fireworks from the back porch... the most beautiful display with the snow capped mountains in the background. We did a day trip to ski in Engleberg, which was easy to get to and from. We also had a lovely night out in Lucerne, just a quick ~20 minute drive. All in all it was a wonderful time with our family. Katy's place was perfect for our family, very large and spacious house, clean and functional. In addition, Katy is very responsive and available to give us all the information we need. A pleasure to have been able to visit a part of Switzerland.

Beautiful view of the lake and the opposite shore towards Blumenberg. Ideal are not only the large garden and the diverse offer for outdoors (boats, SUPs, etc.) but also the well-equipped kitchen. Top cleanliness throughout the house. The nearby highway was a small drop in strength. Thanks to the top hosts Chantal and family for the comfortable stay in the lake villa.

Very clear instructions on the day of for getting there. Definitely pay attention to google maps and the speed cameras near the place!

We had a great time staying in the beautiful apartment of Susanne and Maarten. If you need peace and relaxation, you are in the right place. Susanne is a great hostess. You immediately feel comfortable and at home in the beautiful apartment. And although it's very close to nature, you have very good opportunities to provide yourself as there are shops not far away by car. I recommend this apartment absolutely and with a clear conscience. We will be happy to come back.

Very good place to stay

In search of a quiet accommodation with a certain something, we ended up spending the turn of the year on the Lamahof. Not only our dog Hope was able to enjoy the few days, away from fireworks and fireworks. My husband and I were also able to switch off between wood-burning stoves, country house charm and many llamas and other farm animals. Thank you Karin and Family for the beautiful experience.

The place is very lovingly decorated and the hostess is extremely hospitable, accommodating and very straightforward.

Very clean and spacious, with an amazing view of the mountains. There is a nearby bus stop and a supermarket, which are also very good. Peter responded very quickly as well.

The spacious appartement is beautiful and very clean. We had a great stay to explore the winter wonderland in Lucerne, Pilatus and Oeschinensee. Rita was very kind and helpful.

Maya’s guest house is very spacious. The house itself is very well built, warm and cozy even though it is so large. The living space is the whole bottom floor with underfloor heating and is a really nice place to relax and unwind. At night it is silent and pitch black with the shutters, so our child slept very well. Maya keeps it immaculately clean and is a very accommodating host. The house itself is surrounded by beautiful countryside and forests, which our dog loved. We wish we had stayed longer, but our trip meant we had to travel onward too soon. I hope we’ll be back sometime and I couldn’t recommend it more.

Andrea’s place is very cozy! We felt like at home. There s everything you need to cook. The bathroom is big. There are many towels, shampoo, body soap. Bedrooms are very good and mattresses are very good too.

We really enjoyed our stay at Antoinette's place. The apartment was super clean and equipped with all necessary appliances. It also had a high chair and crib for our 5 month old - very baby friendly. The location is on approx. an hours distance from major cities like Zurich & Basel. Highly recommended :)
