Vacation rentals in Uquía

This is for travelers. Marisol’s place is a few km before Tilcara if you’re coming from Salta. If you want to eat out, it’s a bit far to go to Tilcara on foot. Maybe Maimara, the closest town. There are 2 rooms and 4 beds. And lots of space to leave stuff from the suitcase. The view from the window fantastic. Well equipped kitchen, washing line@balcony. We could’ve stayed weeks and weeks easily. Marisol sends us lots of information if we ask something about. After 2 weeks hectic traveling, we were able to relax and unwind. We’re now back again traveling hard. Thank you very much, Marisol.

Me pareció un lugar único, al pie del cerro, lleno de historias y de arte. Super cálido y estuvimos cómodas 7 personas. Muy buen servicio en general, flexibilidad para esperarnos. La casa es parte de la experiencia cultural de Maimara y los pueblos de la zona.

We enjoyed our stay at Laura and Claudio's place very much. While small, it was perfect for our stay in Maimara as the base for our visit to the area, including visiting the 14 Colored Mountain (Cerro Hornocal) and the Salt Flats (Salinas Grandes). Claudio went out of his way to provide us with information about the area (even with his limited English and my limited Spanish). They made themselves available for anything we needed. Their garden in back was beautiful, a perfect place to view and enjoy the mountain in the back. Thanks much to Laura and Claudio.

Simplesmente tudo perfeito. Marina e seu companheiro são extremamente simpáticos e atenciosos. Nos receberam muito bem, nos deram todas as informações possíveis sobre o local. O ambiente é super confortável e bem equipado, sem falar da vista de frente para a paleta do pintor que é incrível. Super recomendamos, voltaríamos com toda certeza.

La juntadita es un alojamiento hermoso, muy bien ambientado y cómodo. tiene detalles muy lindos que hacen del alojamiento, algo parecido a un hogar, por ejemplo, la pequeña biblioteca. La casa de huéspedes está equipadísima. Se disfruta como lugar de paso, entre paseo y paseo, pero también como sitio de descanso y contemplación. El espacio exterior es enorme y está muy cuidado. Me encantó la ubicación, porque está a tres cuadras del centro neurálgico, pero a la vez distanciada del bullicio. Desde la terracita tiene una vista privilegiada del paisaje y la noche tilcareña, ideal para ver caer el sol. Silvia es una persona atenta y respetuosa, que mantiene contacto y está disponible ante cualquier inquietud. Las indicaciones sobre el uso del alojamiento son claras y apenas necesité asistencia. Para tres personas es bárbaro, en mi caso me alojé sola y encontré la casa muy segura.

Absolut great accomodation. I stayed there with my family and we felt right at home. Very specious and clean. The communication was super easy and immediate.

A great place to relax! The view is very nice and it's not too far to walk to the center of the village.
