Aside bullfighting in the Summer, Praça de Touros do Campo Pequeno (Campo Pequeno bullring) is used for a wide variety of indoor/outdoor events. At other times of the year the arena is used for concerts and other events. The arena complex includes a large shopping center. Praça de Touros do Campo Pequeno was originally built in the late 19th century. It was designed by architect António José Dias da Silva.
