Tips from locals
This neighborhood has some of the most glorious houses in Atlanta. Not huge, just pretty. In some of the backyards the skyscrapers soar up behind the beautiful bungalows.
Ansley Park is a intown residential district in Atlanta, Georgia, located just east of Midtown and west of Piedmont Park. When developed in 1905-1908, it was the first Atlanta suburban neighborhood designed for automobiles, featuring wide, winding roads rather than the grid pattern typical of older streetcar suburbs.
There are five parks in the area (Winn and McClatchey are great for kids). McClatchey has a first come, first serve tennis court, area for the kids to play while Winn has a nice playground and large field for kicking around a ball (dogs can run off leash if they are minded and friendly).
