Specialised since 1915 in violet candies, the sweet hallmark of Madrid. There are others, but they are not the same.

Intersection w/beautiful architecture. This small, elegant shop sells traditional "violetas," violet-flavored hard candy. Not sure why or if anyone eats it, but it makes a good present nonetheless.
