Kid-friendly vacation rentals in South Lakeland District

A lovely property, home from home and the host was so informative and answered any questions I had. The location was perfect for our needs and very quiet. The welcome hamper was really nice and attention to detail in all areas was very evident with nice touch’s and fragrances made the home feel clean and comfortable. Pool table and games consoles make it a stand out location for all ages to enjoy when in the house. Heating was great though the house as we had some very cold days on our stay. Hot tub and gardens well presented too and not over looked. We collectively as a family have said we will return to this property next year in the warmer months for a longer stay. Anyone reading this post then rest assured you will have a lovely stay in this property that you can relax and enjoy your time. 5 star ⭐ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Thankyou. Mr Anderson.

Lovely spacious period property which is in a great location. Close to train station and Lancaster center. Situated on a quiet street with parking and parking permit supplied by host. Contact with the host was faultless throughout our stay. I would definitely return if in the area again.

Beautifully clean, modern but cosy. Was the perfect location with just a very short drive to the prom with so many things to do and see. Perfect for what we needed!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mark was there to let us in as we were checking in early. Nothing was too much trouble! House was clean and spacious. Milk in the fridge and coffee to use. Off street parking and short walk for regular bus service into the city. We will definitely stay again, thank you Anne, with family and friends

My husband and his hiking friend had a wonderful two days' walking in glorious weather. The "Twa Dugs" pub nearby had great bar food and hospitality. House was lovely and warm, comfortable and clean. The only comment was that the house was more difficult to locate as they arrived in the dark. Would have no hesitation in recommending this house. Many thanks.

I booked this for my disabled brother, his disabled friend and a carer. Very modern with really comfortable beds and everything you need in the kitchen. Perfect location to visit all the amenities in Blackpool and far enough away to relax after a busy day sightseeing. They can’t wait to go back next year!

Our second time staying here. Two families with children, lots to do, house is very cosy.

It had everything we needed while spending time with our son and his family nearby … and it gave us some peace at the end of all three days! It was cosy and warm, clean and tidy … with lots of hot water … and they went ‘above and beyond’ posting back a wallet we’d left behind! It’s in a lovely street of houses … with good parking at the back. A fresher looking front door at the main entrance (and tidier bin and rubbish area would improve it immensely … if it’s under their control).

Easy enough to find, great place to set down a base of operations for our weekend away. Would definitely come back. The PS4 was a nice addition! I left my keys but James found them and has said he would post them to me which is greatly appreciated!

Beautiful cosy flat which exceeded our expectations. Kitchen area is modern and has everything you could need. Really soft and comfortable bed, plenty of storage space for clothes. Eveything spotlessly clean, definately a home from home. From the outside balcony, views of the River and canal not to mention the little waterfall literally on the doorstep, were breathtaking. Really great hosts happy to recommend local places to visit and where to eat if you need help. Highly recommended and we will be booking a return visit.

This apartment was a little gem, well equipped and thought out. Tom was so helpful with his communication and hints/tips. It’s an amazing space with beautiful views and one of the best Airb&b’s I have stayed in and we use this all the time. So clean and spacious. The snug with all the books was a favourite of mine. Cannot wait to return in the summer and use the terrace.

We had a very comfortable stay The apartment was clean and comfortable and nicely furnished. We easily found parking on the street and we were very close to the centre of Lytham

Nikki was a fantastic host. The place is absolutely stunning. I loved how it was so dog friendly. The hot tub was 10/10, one of the best I have used. Beach is only 2 minute walk away with lots of cafes and places to eat. The town centre isn't far only 10 minute walk. Would definitely recommend. Me, my partner and our dog had a lovely weekend.

We absolutely loved staying at the Mill! Sophie was so responsive, helpful, and kind while we took a holiday to enjoy the Lake District in the clear winter weather. The apartment was spacious and also cozy, with everything we wanted for the week, including a gorgeous view of the river (particularly at sunset!). Sophie also shared great tips for local hikes and other spots to explore, including a recommendation for a riverside thermal spa which was a real cherry on top to the week! Our two dogs, spanish greyhound rescues, loved walking around the area and exploring the countryside. We look forward to coming back!

I stayed here for 1 night as I was working in the area. What’s important to me is peace and quiet, secure location, which Brenda’s place had, with the bonus of a lovely shower. If I’m in the area again I would definitely stay

Carina's place was in great location, beautiful flat/apartment. It's got everything that's needed for family visits. And Grange-over-Sands is a picturesque town to live in and it is close to all the tourist attractions within Lake District.

Loved my stay at this flat. The location for Windermere was perfect, just off the high street for shops, pubs and restaurants. Public car park only a few minute walk away. Flat very clean and modern, would stay again.
