The listing is exactly as shown. It was gorgeous and immaculately tidy and clean. The only downside were the critters that were mentioned. Gave us a scare at night.

Tropical Oasis Home with Pool and Steps to Beach

Bruce McLeanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is an excellent home. The hosts are very responsive and supply an accurate description of their house. The place worked perfectly for our 3 generation group. The geezers (us) stayed in the separate downstairs apartment. Not lux but decent. The 2 sons/spouses and 2 grandkids (2 &3.5) had the run of the more lux upstairs. Large bedrooms with good bathrooms. We prepared meals upstairs (no stove down) and enjoyed them outside on the large table under the roof on the porch. Good breeze there. Pretty warm inside for meals but the A/C in the BR's is great. The pool is perfect. Lots of floaties, toys, etc. Good loungers and a picnic table under cover next to the pool. The beach accessory selection is great. Coolers, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, snorkel stuff. Good location near a well equipped shopping center with groceries, Longs drugs, restaurants and a small Saturday farmers market. Very quiet neighborhood. Easy access. I highly recommend this rental.

Hale Aka'ula, house of the red sunset

BobRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Enjoyed an awesome week here - great location with easy access to destinations and an amazing, private view of the ocean and wonderful sunsets! Very comfortable, safe, private, quiet, clean and well furnished for relaxing and preparing dinners. Screened in porch so nice to hang out and view the ocean. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, gadgets, etc - so fun to make fresh tropical fruit smoothies! Beds and pillows very comfortable. Clean bathrooms with plenty of hot water. A/C available but ceiling fans all that was needed. Washer and dryer very convenient. Resident caretaker very warm, kind and helpful (and hardly noticeable). Every type of beach essential you could think of - so nice to have for our party of four! So sad to leave, can't wait to return!

Enchanted Volcano Forest Escape 3BDRM Rental House

Wonderful place to stay. As a family of 6, there was plenty of space for everyone. Stocked kitchen and laundry was a plus. Super close to Volcano NP. Just the gate lock gave us issues trying to shut it-a little sticky.

La Caseta- Tropical at Keauhou Bay

PhilipRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Thanks Megan And Vicent for a great stay and high recommend! We'd definately return. The photos accurately represent the top-floor space, which was quiet and private—we rarely heard our hosts downstairs. They were friendly, checked in a couple of times during our weeklong stay, and provided excellent communication throughout. The space was very comfortable, with a large common area, spacious bedrooms, and a well-appointed kitchen that had everything we needed. The lanai was a nice bonus. The location was convenient for our exploring the island.

South Kona Hale

DolloresRating, 5 stars1 month ago
An absolutely lovely house! Besides the terrace there are so many little touches that set this place apart, ex. coffee grinder for the coffee beans to enjoy a fresh coffee on the patio, well disigned layout with plenty of space, huge "master" bedroom. Besides the perfect sunset from the patio, you can also see the sunrise from the kitchen window appearing behind the mountain. Not in the center of the city but in a quite neighborhood with a few spots to visit close by, ex: Greenwell farms, which offers free tour, Shaka Tacos for food, a farmers market. The only complaint we had was that we only booked it for 2 nights :(.

Della and Max were very friendly and nice. They were very helpful with checking-in our room when we had trouble. They both shared a bucket full of fresh off-the-tree macadamia nuts which were delicious! Max shared some local suggestions with us as well. It is a quite place and isn't too far outside of Kona. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Tropical garden apartment

DamienRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We really enjoyed our stay! It’s a clean and practical apartment unit with everything you need to make your own meals. Perfect base for exploring all the adventures the Big island has to offer. 10 min drive to Kona downtown and close to Costco. We appreciated the local fruits that awaited our arrival. Priscilla is super friendly and offered us local recommendations, snorkelling gears (snorkel, fins, noodle, etc.) and beach gears (chairs, umbrella, etc.) to use, which we appreciated and took use. We slept well on the comfy bed. Thank you for everything!

Professional Design: Ocean View: Private Apartment

KarinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This listing far exceeded our expectations and the attention to detail of everything a guest may need was provided. The views from the private balcony were top notch and the BnB as a whole is serene and beautiful. We loved how we were able to drive to every coast of the island in less than 2 hours! In 10 days we saw every nook and cranny due to the central location of this listing!! You'd be making a huge mistake to pass this AirBnB opportunity up!!!!

Anuhea House Akau - Beautiful custom-built studio

BéahRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Loved our stay at Lopaka’s Airbnb! We spent two nights here and wished we had booked it for our entire trip. The space is huge—with a full kitchen, cozy living room, large bathroom, and an extremely comfortable bed. No AC, but the Holualoa breeze kept it pleasant. One of my favorite parts was waking up to the sound of chickens and roosters—it felt like being back in the Philippines! The free washer and dryer were a great perk, and the property felt very private. Even though the hosts live on-site, they were so respectful of our space that we barely noticed them. It does get dark at night since there are no outdoor lights, but a phone flashlight up the stairs worked fine. The keypad entry made coming and going super easy. We checked out to stay in Hilo but kept wishing we had stayed here the whole time. If you’re looking for a peaceful, private, and spacious place in Holualoa, this is it! Highly recommend.

Renovated Condo with A/C, Pool & Spa

AndyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The property lived up to the description, pics and our own expectations. The complex was well groomed and on the golf course so we had some views. We really enjoyed the gym and pool and made the best of them both. The condo is walkable to coffee, restaurants and the KTA Grocery Store. The owners struck the perfect balance of a well equipped condo with all the necessities without clutter or unnecessary items. We were able to cook, go to the beach, do laundry, make coffee (Keurig), etc. We walked daily in the neighboring areas which were safe and the people friendly. This was our first stay in Waikaloa Village and there are plenty of amenities and only a few miles to the beach. Great place!

Adam's place on the Big Island was hands down the best location on this beautiful island. It was the perfect location and condo for our family! Adam's instructions were clear and easy to find, the condo was minutes from beautiful beaches and the stores. We felt like the location was perfect to hang out at our favorite beaches, waterfalls, the drive to Volcano National Park, and not far from the harbor for our whale watching tour. The condo had plenty of space for our family of four and the kitchen was plenty for us to cook our breakfast and dinners. We used the beach chairs and the cooler, which was very helpful when we were out all day. We would highly recommend this condo on the Big Island!

Lovely Remodeled 3rd Floor Ocean Front Condo #312

LiseRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Holly's place is up to date and lovely. The view from the lanai was stunning and peaceful. The sound of the waves and a comfortable made for restful nights. The location was great for the west side of the island. It was easy to get to restaurants and various beaches. Kahalu'u beach was nearby and the snorkeling was great there. We had our own masks and snorkels, but appreciated the selection of fin sizes. Neither of us needed to rent fins. We saw whales every day from the lanai and dolphins on several occasions. The kitchen was well equipped and the farm market next door was a great source of papayas and pineapples. We used the blender and fruit to make excellent frozen daiquiris. Holly was very responsive to questions and also one minor issue we had with a lamp not working. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy Kona Condo on Ali'i drive Ocean View Pool

JenniRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This paradise is an excellent spot for your Kailua-Kona-based vacation! It is right on Alii Drive, close to the ocean and town. Sherry had beach chairs and a surf board, anything you could want for the beach. The king bed is super nice, and having the windows unit AC helped when it got warm with no breeze in the evening. we also used the pullout couch/bed, and it was surprisingly comfortable! I would rent from Sherry again, and I would rent this location. Perfect jumping off spot for our Big Island adventure.
