The best bang for your buck in Tucson golf! Not as pristine as nearby Tucson National or Dove Mountain, but you get mountain views from the entire course and no homes built on the course, which makes you feel at one with the desert. It also has a large real grass driving range and practice area. Highly recommended for avid golfers wanting to squeeze in an extra round on a trip.

Sightseeing

Beautiful drive up the Mount Lemmon Scenic Byway. From Tucson, you go from the southwestern desert at 2,500 feet to the high peaks at 10,000 feet. You can see snow in the winter and green trees year round! Lovely views.

The west side of Saguaro National Park has a mich nicer collection of cacti than the east side. Also, you can take a 6 mile detour on the Bajada Loop for some raw desert and option for a few short hikes. Can't miss while in the Old Pueblo!
