Traveler advice

Getting around

How the City is laid out

Phoenix streets are on a grid with Central Avenue in the center. Everything east of Central is numbered Streets starting with first street at Central and getting bigger. This pattern continues into Scottsdale. West of Central follows the same pattern only they are called Avenue and the numbers get larger going west into Glendale.
