We’ve seen that listings with more details can get up to 20% more bookings. Since introducing the Listings tab in 2023, we’ve continued to improve it based on Host feedback.

The 2024 Summer Release includes your top request for the photo tour: the ability to reorder listing photos within rooms. Soon, you’ll also be able to update an existing photo tour with help from AI.

Here are five ways to more easily manage your listing with the Listings tab, starting with the upgraded photo tour.

1. Create a photo tour

Help guests understand the layout of your home by creating a photo tour. You can use AI to automatically organize your listing photos into rooms and spaces, then manually edit the tour.

Now, you can drag and drop photos to rearrange them within any room. Soon, you’ll be able to instantly update a tour when you add three or more photos. AI will organize the new images without changing any of the edits you’ve made.

2. Update your amenities

Guests often filter their Airbnb search results to find homes with certain features or amenities. Help your listing stand out by including everything your place offers. The Listings tab makes it easy to add amenities and keep them up to date.

You can view nearly 150 amenities alphabetically or by category, or search for an amenity by name—no scrolling required. Include details where prompted, like noting that your dedicated workspace offers a printer and an ergonomic chair.

3. Refresh your listing description

Guests want the places they book to match the listing description. Providing clear, accurate information about your home and its surroundings helps set expectations.

Describe the location, decor, and your hospitality. Strive to let guests know exactly what it’s like staying at your place—the sights, sounds, and experiences

4. Complete your arrival guide

Guests should be able to find your place and get inside easily. The Listings tab lets you add or update arrival information all in one place.

You can manage your check-in method and time, directions and parking tips, wifi password, house manual, checkout instructions, and more—and then preview what guests will see. Guests receive information after booking, before check-in, and before checkout.

5. Add a smart lock

A smart lock is a wifi-enabled electronic lock that guests open the door with a code instead of a key. It can be a simple and effective method of self check-in.

You can make self check-ins smoother by connecting a compatible smart lock to your listing. Guests automatically receive a unique door code for new bookings, and you can manage your lock from the Airbnb app.

The tool is available to Hosts with listings in the US and Canada who use compatible locks from August, Schlage, and Yale.
