We were completely blown away by our stay at this Airbnb! We spent 4 weeks immersed in nature, with the nearby river and refreshing swims just steps away. The house was spacious and comfortable, with a fantastic outdoor kitchen that we used constantly. The garden was a little paradise, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Despite the tranquil setting, we were conveniently located within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The hosts were incredibly attentive and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. We can't recommend this Airbnb highly enough! It's the perfect escape for anyone seeking a rejuvenating break in a beautiful, natural setting.

We just returned from an incredible week at this beautiful property, and I can’t say enough good things about our experience! Carmen’s house was not only clean and spacious but also provided the perfect environment for our family to relax and enjoy each other's company. The setting between the Sierra Nevada and the ocean was nothing short of magical. Every morning, we were greeted with stunning views that truly made our stay special. Zulde and her mom were with us throughout our visit, ensuring that we felt right at home. Zulde’s cooking was a highlight of our trip: every meal was delicious and made with love, showcasing local flavors that we couldn't get enough of! Additionally, being within walking distance to the beach was a huge plus. We spent countless hours enjoying the sun, sand, and creating unforgettable memories together. Overall, we had an absolute blast and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect family getaway. We can’t wait to return!

If you are looking to have a relax in Colombia this is the place. Located up on the hill, very private and quiet, some traffic noise from the road below, so you don’t feel too isolated. Nice views across to the hills, and a glimpse of the Caribbean Sea over the sugarcane fields. The kitchen is well equipped, and clean linen. Upstairs is accessible via a ladder, once up there and hammock set up to catch the breeze, it’s time to relax. The locals are very friendly, keen to share a laugh, and I always felt safe. Easy 20 minute walk to Palomino, just take care when walking down the track from the house, it can be a bit slippery. On a clear morning, when crossing the bridge to Palomino, be sure to look to the south, to see the snow capped mountain. Take a torch at night if walking to Palomino, as the bridge doesn’t have street lighting.

sin duda John es de los mejores anfitriones que me he encontrado. su amabilidad y hospitalidad no tienen precio. nos ayudó a tener una deliciosa cena de año nuevo. la casa es tal cual se ve en las fotos, es muy fresca porque está rodeada de vegetación, nuestra estacia fue excelente. además, Diego nos ayudó y estuvo super pendiente también.

J'adore le côté privé de cet endroit tellement mignon et fait avec tellement de gout. Très original et vraiment charmant. Nous avons réservé pour la deuxieme fois cette endroit et comme pour la première nous en sommes ravis!

muy buen sitio, cómodo limpio y ubicado en una locación muy bonita, hay muchos planes por hacer, los paisajes, playas de Palomino son muy hermosos, hay muchos restaurantes y sitios para visitar.

excelente ubicación, tal cual las fotos , y muy bien ubicados y se puede encontrar todo la mano, el señor que nos recibe Don Alcides muy amable, el mantenimiento de la piscina excelente

Iván fue un sol!! El lugar es mágico, cumple con todas las especificaciones, es muy fácil de llegar, queda muy cerca a palomino!! Lo recomiendo a ojo cerrado!! Espero volver muy pronto :)

We loved our stay here. The place is just a short walk to town but felt removed from it all, which was nice for our stay. It was away from the noise and all the tourist. We really enjoyed Ana's help with everything. She is usually on the grounds and was there to answer all of our questions. The hotel itself is a really gorgeous structure and it was just beautifully designed so we enjoyed staying at such a pretty place. The grounds are really peaceful and we used the pool daily. It's a pretty pool, set behind the house and we were there alone all the days so it felt really private. We are grateful to find such a great place!

El rancho/cabaña de Iván es un hermoso lugar. Es tal cual se indica en las fotos. Su ubicación con playa privada, al frente, es simplemente espectacular. Estuve con mi familia; mi abuela, mamá, tía y mi padre quedaron muy contentos. Edwin y su esposa, aministradores del lugar, son personas muy amables, serviciales y amenas. Recomiendo el lugar para descansar y alejarse del mundo un ratito. Tiene unas vistas espectaculares, además que es sumamente fresco por su diseño (corre mucho el aire, a pesar del calor típico de La Guajira). Es encantador que cuiden de los animales que viven en la casa (1 perro y 2 gatos) quienes sin duda hacen del lugar un espacio ameno. Finalmente, Iván (el anfitrión) siempre contestó a tiempo, fue muy respetuoso y prestó a brindar toda la información.

We had an amazing stay at Aurore. We were with our 3 kids. The place is well located, really close to the beach, and on the main street. But it's also very quiet and calm at night (there are a lot of parties in the other hostels). Just know that the place is rustic and outdoor. Insects are everywhere. But if you love nature and the beach, you will have a great stay. Our children loved the place. That's not all. Jairo, Carolina and Samuel are very nice and attentive. They really take care of everything and wants you to have a great stay. It's really worth the price.

es una cabaña increíble, muy muy fresca, muy cerca a Palomino ( queda a 5 minutos de Palomino), es perfecta para descansar sin ruido pues está súper equipada, perfecta para trabajar remoto pues el internet es muy bueno, los anfitriones son muy dulces, amables y te guían en lo que necesites para tus actividades.

We had a wonderful stay here, the property, while rustic, was perfect for our needs. The host and team he has taking care of the cabin were very communicative, going above and beyond to make sure that we were well taken care of.

Catalina a toujours été très réactive. Et la maison est vraiment belle. Comme elle l’indique elle même, pas mal d’agitation le We mais ca fait partie de la culture caribeene alors on accepte avec le sourire 😊

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr schön direkt am Strand. David ist ein sehr aufmerksamer und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Wir haben uns bei ihm wohl gefühlt. Leider sind die Wände und Böden in den Zimmern sehr einfach gebaut, was den Gesamteindruck etwas schmälert. Nichts desto trotz hatten wir eine gute Zeit dort.

The place is massive!!! Don't be discouraged by the lack of reviews, the place is new, but it looks exactly like the pictures. We stayed for a week and enjoyed our time in Palomino. The host and the housekeeper were incredibly helpful and gave us many great recommendations during our stay. The kitchen is great if you like cooking like we do. The place is also only about 15 mins from the beach by foot, it was a nice walk every day and there's lots of places along the way to stop for a bite or a drink.
